It’s Spring, or at least that’s what the calendar
says :D. And because of that I think that we should listen to a feel good song
that would keep you moving today. Something like “Living” by Bakermat featuring
Alex Clare. This track has some funky guitar riffs combine with some indie-electronic
beats. The lyrics are pretty catchy and Alex Clare does a great job singing
them. “Don’t let nothing hold you down” was stuck in my head from the firs
listen.
Since is the first day of Spring and the
weather outside seems pretty warm I’m going to choose a green tea so we can
relax and enjoy this day. The tea is called Spring Morning (it’s todays theme
if you didn’t realized) and it’s a blend of: green tea, pieces of ginger,
licorice root, lemon peel, hibiscus, pepper, pieces of verbena, jasmine
flowers.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
A few days ago someone I like
showed me this song and it's been on repeat since then. For me, the song it's
full of emotions and things that make me happy right now.
I'm talking about "Dig" by Incubus, a band from California, formed in 1991 (I wasn't even born
at that time, which means they're pretty old :D ). Incubus is an alternative rock
band that I've known for years and although I'm not their biggest fan, I enjoy
some of their songs. For instance: "Drive" and "Love Hurts"
and the best right now, “Dig”.
"Dig" is a great song
that has very cute lyrics and the best mellow sounds to go with them. I loved
it since the first time I've heard it, probably because I didn't find it by
mistake, it was sent to me and I'm grateful for that. There are some complicate
feelings that I’m experiencing these days and this song puts them to ease,
especially the lyrics "At least we dig each other" and "Remind
me that we'll always have each other". I don't really DIG the lead
singer's voice (see what I did there :) ), but I love the intro and the guitar that plays slowly the same
chords all thru the song.
Great song! That is what I have to
say about it. And since it is such a great therapy for all those feelings that
are bubbling inside me these days, I think that the tea should be the same, so
I'm choosing to drink a Jasmine Tea.
Jasmine tea is not considered an
herbal tea because it's a flavor for normal tea. Nevertheless, it's one of the
most popular types of tea, especially in China. One of the reasons jasmine tea
is so popular it's due to its many benefits like: fighting bacteria, weight
loss, aromatherapy, anti-aging, stress relief and many others. This tea has a
delicious, sweet floral aroma that is often described as perfume-like and
that's due to the way it is processed. In China, the best jasmine scent is
described as Xian Ling (that means fresh and nimble), but that doesn't make it
compatible with all types of tea. The best combination is with green tea,
followed by oolong tea, and then black tea, which I honestly have to say that I
never tried it, but I promise to do it very soon.
That is about all I can say right
now regarding this. I hope you like drinking your jasmine tea, preferable with
green tea and try listening to the song "Dig" while you're doing it
because I think it's one of those perfect combinations.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I'm
already drinking mine.
