Are you ready for an experimental,
post-hardcore track? Today I’m going to talk about “Colourblind” by Hands Like
Houses. This song has some good shifts in rhythm and some beautiful lyrics
like: “Naming every shade of grey has left us colourblind”. And my favorite –
“So close your eyes, let the colours fly”. The feeling that I get from this
song is one of letting go of all the problems, all the worries, everything that
is going wrong, and just fly.
I’m thinking pairing this song with a green
tea, but an unexpected one – Cucumber Mint Iced Tea. That’s a mix of: green tea,
cucumber and, of course, peppermint. It’s a refreshing drink, perfect for
summer days, and most of all, perfect for those days when you need to let go.
It will help you hydrate, relax and give you the energy to see the “colors” of
the world.
