Take Away

Hello!

Today I’m craving chocolate and some post-rock so here are my choices right from the start. First of all, the tea is called Cacao / Hazelnut Nougat and it’s a combination of: rooibos, honey bush, chocolate flakes, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, caramel pieces, dark chocolate flakes, chopped almonds, and chia seeds, plus vanilla but only for those of you that like that. It’s sweet and full of flavors, it will give you a boost in energy and it’s something you can enjoy at any hour. Plus there is chocolate in this tea so it will make your experience even better.

As for the song, it comes from a Jersey band called Vasudeva. They are a fantastic band, I haven’t heard much from them but the songs I know I really love cause it’s got a certain something. Right now I’m listening to “Take Away”, it’s from their album that came out this year. It’s not just post-rock it’s math rock and ambient and I doesn’t feel so overwhelming, but it does take you away on a beautiful journey with beautiful, dynamic soundscape. Hope you enjoy at least half as much as i enjoy these choices and now …

Petrichor

Hey guys!

Today I really feel the need for something that will put me on my feet, cause I fill a cold coming on. And because of that my choice is Turmeric Comfort. It’s a perfect blend of: honey bush, rooibos, turmeric, cinnamon, pepper, ginger, honey bee pollen. Almost all the ingredients of this tea have benefic attributes for: inflammation, cold, flu, stress and weight loss.

And my choice of song is … “Petrichor” by Tall Ships, a melodic hardcore, indie band for the UK. I immediately fall on love with this track, its drum kicks, guitar riffs, just this tune beats and melodic line. Plus the lyrics are an expression of originality and emotion carefully created with some wonderful words. “My favorite smell is petrichor/ The scent straight after rain/ An illusion of beginning again” it’s just the perfect showcase of a brilliant songwriter.

Because I Hear You

Hey you!

Today I’m listening to some post-rock track, it’s called “Because I Hear You” and it’s by the Japanese band Toe. I just discovered this band and I got to say that it’s something in their sound that just gives you a good feeling when you hear them. It feels more precise and mathematic than other post-rock bands that feel chaotic in their sound.  It’s a combination of artistic and some kind of architecture structure, I just love it. And it has the perfect title since there are little pauses and changes in the track so it feels like someone is talking.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a green one with the aroma of some flowers, something like Yasumi. Which is a combination of: green tea, sunflowers & rose petals and blueberry leaves. That feels like the perfect choice, it’s full of flavors and it will give you a little energy to get thru the day. That’s about it for today.
