It’s that time again; it’s the birthday of
one of my good friends and favorite people. It might be that her day won’t be
full of people but I’m pretty sure that the one that care about her, we are
wishing her a wonderful day and a great year, full of realizations and happiness.
Her choices are… for the song “Intro” from
the band The XX. This has been one of my favorite track for a few years now and
it’s even been my alarm tune so I really agree with the choice. It’s a song that just made this band
something to follow and it’s still something quite unique. Whenever I listen to
it, it just gives me a relaxing feeling or it just makes me feel invincible
like nothing in the world can stop me. I’m sure she feels the same whenever the
song is playing.
And for the tea, she choose the Nepal
Masala, which is no surprise for me, I’m just glad she stopped drinking stuff
that had almonds in it J). This one will definitely give you energy and make your heart beat
faster and if you timed it right and have your certain someone nearby you can
even try the motion of the ocean since it has a lot of spices that are
considered aphrodisiacs. So this blend
is a mix of: black tea, cinnamon, anise, cloves, ginger, coriander, black
pepper, cardamom, cumin. Just add a little milk and enjoy the day.

So for the last couple of days I’ve been
listening to “I Feel It Coming” by The Weekend featuring Daft Punk. I’m not
going to talk about these artists because we all know about them, but the song
is a different subject. It has an 80’s vibes with a danceable, urban, house
sound with sexual innuendoes delivered by The Weekend with some flawless vocals.
For me the hook is the best part of the song cause it’s not just about sex, it’s
about love also: “You've been scared of love and what it did to you/ You don't
have to run, I know what you've been through”.
As for the tea I’m going to choose
something that has a few aphrodisiacs as ingredients and if you are in that
mood this will definitely be a great choose. I’m not sure how to name the tea
yet but the blend is made of: rooibos, cinnamon, orange peel and Damiana leaf. Give

So today we are going to listen to Ed Sheeran’s
“Shape Of You”. This track has a good vibe to it, and sound it’s a looped
guitar and something that resembles a marimba. That makes for a good tune since
Ed matched his acoustic guitar to a techno beat and added some lyrics in which
you feel his desire. Apparently this
track was intended for Rihanna but he kept it for himself, and right now I got
to say that I’m glad for that. There is one more thing to say. This is my
favorite lyrics: “Girl, you know I want your love/ Your love was handmade for
somebody like me”.
Since this song is about desire and the shape of your body I think that the tea
should give you a certain state of mind and maybe help you make something happen.
This tea is called Pitta and its full of aphrodisiacs. It’s a blend of: cinnamon,
cardamom, licorice root, coriander, fennel, ginger, rose petals. I know this
tea might help you with the motion of the ocean if you are in that moon but is better

Today is a good day, don’t you think? And because
of that I’m drinking a Amazon tea. This is a blend of: rooibos, licorice root,
orange peel, chocolate bits, rose petals, cardamom, cinnamon and fennel. It’s a
sweet mix of ingredients, with a beautiful smell and aroma. It will give you a
bit of energy and it my put you in a moot to try the motion of the ocean
because the chocolate, cardamom, cinnamon and fennel are all aphrodisiacs.
Now when it comes to the melody I choose a love
song. It’s called “Fire Escape” and it’s by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness witch
is the third musical project by Andrew McMahon. It’s a cheery and up beat track
that will keep you smiling and maybe even dancing without realizing. The chorus
has some clever lyrics that say: “You’re my number one,/ You’re the reason I’m
still/ Up at dawn/ Just to see your face./ We’ll be going strong/ With the
vampires, baby./ We belong, we belong.” . Maybe because of that I can’t stop
myself from putting the song on repeat.

So I couldn’t sleep last night and I
thought that listening to some music might help me out. That didn’t happened cause
I found this song and I fell in love with it instantly and it’s been on repeat
ever since. It’s called “The Drugs” and it’s by Mother Mother. It’s an indie,
experimental, rock band from Canada. The lyrics talk about how loving that one
person give you a feeling even better than drugs: “Cause you're hotter than the
sun/ And you're better than the drugs/ I used to love”. And that’s just the first
lyrics of this track :D. Give it a listen, you might enjoy it.
As for the tea, I think it should be a Chocolate
Raspberry Truffl tea? It’s a blend of: black tea, raspberries, chocolate bits,
cocoa bits, chili flakes, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. This tea will give you
energy and because almost every ingredients are well known aphrodisiacs, this
will help you with the motion of the ocean if need comes.

I know I’ve posted Sia before, but here comes another song that couldn’t go unmentioned – “The Greatest”. I love this song and, actually, it was love at first listen, in a cute moment sitting in bed and enjoying life, with the most perfect company. Sia’s vocals and lyrics, that make you just feel better and like you can do anything, are definitely going to be my anthem when I’m trying to do something new and scary. “I'm free to be the greatest, I'm alive”, that is the best pep talk anyone should need.
The tea is going to be an easy one since I
got a new tea cup and the first thing I drank from it was a Masala chai tea,
which is an Indian blend of black tea and spices. This one is a mix of ginger
and cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, fennel seeds, nutmeg and cloves. This
combination of flavors, mixed with milk, has the most interesting taste. I’m
going to savor it with some chocolate brownies on the side, for a complete
experience. My day is going to be great. I can tell.

Today let’s talk about a song that has been
stuck in my head for the past few days and sometimes, if I write about it, it
goes away. So here it is: “Pink” by Aerosmith, a perfect rock song, in my
opinion. But you’ll have to get past all the sexual innuendos in the lyrics
(which are pretty flashy and quite brilliant on their own). Just hit play and
hear the drums snap and then Steve Tyler going: “Pink it's my new obsession”.
For the tea I’m going to choose something
that would put you in the mood, just like the song does. Something that will
help you try the motion of the ocean ;) So… a rooibos ginger tea sounds good
enough for you? Both of the ingredients are powerful aphrodisiacs known all
around the world, and this combination is definitely a good choice if you wanna

Sooo… today I was listening to this song,
after a long time I thought I have forgot about it, and I realized that I still
love it. I’m talking about „Sextape” by Deftones, a band that I like because
someone else I love, loves it. This song even has the perfect start – “floating
underwater”– that’s like a dream and after 2 more verses you are overwhelmed by
the bridge & chorus that brings everything so perfectly together.

will keep you grounded but also give you energy to try almost anything (even
the motion of the ocean :P) Fig & Lavender: black tea, fig bits, lavender,
cinnamon & cloves, a splendid combination of taste and feelings in a
perfect tea.

Hey, guys! Let’s talk
today about another Jonas (from the Jonas Brothers). Nick Jonas and Tove Lo
have a new track called „Close”. This song has a stunning melody because the
voices of the two artists blend perfectly and sound amazing together. It's a
track that has a hint of R&B, but it’s a quite powerful pop melody that
starts slow, with some beat drops that build up so that, by the time the chorus
comes, you feel hooked and a little bit provoked ;) The lyrics are pretty cute
and exciting, especially “space is just a word made up by someone who’s afraid
to get close”. Truly brilliant! This song gives me the right kind of feeling,
especially when I think about a certain someone.
For the
tea, I’m choosing Muira Puama because this song for me is quite stimulating and
inspiring. Muira Puama grows in the Brazilian rainforest and is an aphrodisiac
that has been used as such for centuries. It helps reducing anxiety, boosts your
physical abilities, gives you energy & improves your
desire and sexual satisfaction (perfect for when you wanna try the motion of
the ocean). So, go ahead, enjoy them both!

The first
time I heard this song, all I could make out was the piano and just a few
lyrics, but I fell in love with it instantly. Its melody makes you explore all
your feelings, not only because of the piano, but because of the artist’s
voice. I’m talking about Ruelle and her song „I Get To Love You”. This track is
amazing and doesn’t disappoint, especially with lyrics like „Whatever may come,
your heart I will choose.” Who doesn’t want that, someone that feels so happy
loving you?

the tea should be something like pink and fluffy and lovable, right? I know a
tea that’s called Love Tea. This one’s a blend of rose petals, damiana leaf,
orange peel, cacao nibs, cinnamon and, if you like, you can add vanilla beans
(I personally don’t like vanilla, but maybe you do). This tea will help you
with your skin health, blood pressure and at least 2 of the ingredients are

I’m in a

everybody has heard of this band). „Hysteria”, quite an old song of theirs, but
one with a powerful sound that gives you a boost from the start and makes you
wanna jump up & down with its rhythm. It’s a catchy tune that you can
listen to on repeat like I’m doing right now :D
With this
rhythm I’m sure that a spice tea will go perfectly. Spice Cocoa is a mix of
cacao beans, cinnamon, licorice root, apple, ginger, clove, nutmeg, black
pepper and, if you like it, vanilla. Cacao and the licorice root will energize
you; apple, ginger & nutmeg will improve you immune system; clove and

Some songs get
stuck on repeat and some teas you drink all the time. So this goes perfectly
for today. That’s even in the name of the tea (I will tell you in a little bit
what it is). I’ve sipped it in one of my favorite places which made everything
just perfect.
It’s a fusion of
mate, black tea, cinnamon, lemongrass, rose petals, chamomile, fennel,
blackberry leaves & saffron petals and it’s called „Perfection” (what did I
tell you? :D). Thanks to the black tea, the mate and blackberry will boost you,
the fennel will increase your brain activity and chamomile will relieve
insomnia. In addition, the cinnamon and the saffron are considered
aphrodisiacs, so you know what that means, and the lemongrass and the rose
petals will boost your immune system. The perfect tea for every situation with
a very enjoyable taste – a bit like heaven.
And here comes

I’m thinking that „Bo Peep” by Shlohmo featuring Jeremih is the perfect song to put you in the mood. Shlohmo’s beats, drums and mixes, and Jeremih R&B voice are the right combination to make this song so good! There isn’t much that I can say to convince you of that; you’ll just have to listen to it for yourselves to understand, because not only the melody, but the lyrics are pretty explicit and implicit as well. And I’m not even going to mention the music video. You can see it for yourself. The link is down below!
Now, the tea. I think for it to fit this song and mood, it will definitely have to be something that was used as an aphrodisiac at some point in time. Like Catuaba tea. This tea increases libido in men and women and I guess that makes it a perfect match for the song I chose. Also, it gives you a huge boost in energy and confidence, high levels of sexual motivation (exactly like the song :D ), elevates your mood and gives you a cheerful disposition. Of course, it has other benefits besides these sexual ones, like the fact that it has antibacterial and antiviral properties, relieves depression, insomnia, pain and protects the body from bacteria.

Today I started the day with a tune stuck in my head and I thought „this is something I should write about”, so that is what I’m doing right now. This song calms me down, but also keeps me pumped up (in a good way) for a period of time. It reminds me of a car ride when I was angry, and as soon as it begun, I forgot what was going on and I started feeling better.
„Imagination” by Gorgon City featuring Katy Menditta is an infectious track that makes you sing the chorus with no problems. It’s an up-tempo house song with deep house influences and Katy’s voice just goes along with it perfectly. Her deliverance of „I need you to use, use, use, use, use, use your imagination” is stunning. No wander I woke up in a good mood.
Now let’s see what tea is a match for this song. I’m thinking ginseng because it has a relaxing and soothing effect on the body. Plus it’s an herb very commonly associated with love (and that is what the song is about). Ginseng tea reduces physical and mental distress, relief from menstrual problems and reduction in obesity, improvement of digestive disorders and a boosted immune system. You can drink it for its health benefits, for the taste or to improve your mood; ginseng is perfect for all.

I don't know what kind of music you guys listen to, but my first song will be one that I've hold it dear for the last two weeks or more now that I think about it. It reminds me of someone and the sweet moments between us, and there were nany, especially with this song in the background, moments that I'm pretty sure I'm not going to forget any time soon and I definitely don't want to.
The song is called "Pillow Talk", it's by Zayn Malik, the guy how left One Direction for some reason. It's an R&B song has a lot of hooks, and the lyrics are pretty interesting. They make me happy and put me in a certain mood, for which it was intended. It's a song about sex. The lyrics are pretty implicit with that "reckless behavior" and "f***ing in, fighting on, it's our paradise and our war zone". But the lyric that I love the most it's definitely "be in bed all day" that makes me think of something more than sex, something like just staying in one place with someone you like and not feel the hours passing by and completely forgetting about everything that is going on in the world. That feeling doesn't happen often, but when it does I think this is the perfect song to put everything in action.
It's a pretty good song that not everyone likes but for those of you who do I think it will pair up good with the cinnamon and ginger tea.
Both cinnamon and ginger are considered aphrodisiacs because; cinnamon increases appetite, both physical and sexual, it arouses women and men, but the smell seems to really get men going; and ginger because of its scent and because it stimulates the circulatory system. So both, together, make the perfect tea especially for this song.
Cinnamon and ginger have other benefits other than just being aphrodisiacs. Cinnamon stimulates brain function, relieves arthritis, fights common colds and flu, and ginger relieves nausea, has anti-viral properties and it's an aid in digestion. I am not a big fan of cinnamon, I think it smells like gingerbread and I don't like that, but it smells like Christmas too and that I like. If you don't know how to prepare a cinnamon tea I will help you with that and give you a recipe.
Here is what you need for this tea:
500 ml of water
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
1 Cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon of clove
lemon or orange juice (depends on your preference)
Put the water, the cinnamon, the grate ginger and the clove in a pot and bring them to boil. Put the lemon or orange juice in and let them slow boil for about 15 minutes and let it sit for another 15 minutes. Filtrate the composition afterwards and serve it simple, with honey or maple syrup.
The more you let the tea sit, the more flavor it has, but be careful because ginger has a peppery taste.
You can put more cinnamon if you like and use Ceylon and not Cassia cause it's easier to brake it into pieces.
