Monster

Hey, guys!
This time we’ll do an odd one, something in the line of k-pop :P I’m talking about EXO’s new song called “Monster”. This track got me hooked from the first listen. It’s about a love that is more like an obsession and it’s hard to give it up. The truth is that this song’s got some weird lyrics, but the fact that I don’t understand most of them makes them ok J) “You can call me monster” still has a ring to it.

Since we are listening to k-pop, how about a tea that has the same origin as this music genre? I’m suggesting Yujacha, a Korean honey lemon tea. In Korea, it’s traditionally made with the Yuja (유자) fruit (a relative of the lemon), but we’ll make it with lemon for obvious reasons. It has a lot of benefits for your immune system, energy levels, PH balance, digestion and many others.

And here is how you can make the Yujacha base:
Slice several lemons and remove the seeds. Place them in a clean pitcher or in another container, filling it about halfway up. Make sure the lemon slices are completely submerged in the honey so that they don’t spoil. Fill the rest of the container with raw, organic, unfiltered honey. Leave the container in a cool, dark place for about a week. During warm weather you can put the container in the fridge. It’s ready when it’s a thick syrup.

Now making the tea:
Take about 2 tablespoons of the Yujacha tea base and put it into a mug. Fill with boiling water and stir. That is it. Enjoy!

Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
