Any Friend of Diane’s

Hello!

Today I am listening to Weezer’s new album “Pacific Daydream” and my favorite song on it “Any Friend of Diane’s”. This one feels a little different from the track that Weezer has released before, it’s slow, unique and it just something about it, it’s even catch and easy to listen to.  But it seems that people are quite torn about it, either they like it or they just hate it. It’s not that 90s grunge and it looks that their sound has change and for me feels like for the better.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a simple one made from just 3 ingredients. It’s called Red Coconut and it contains: rooibos, coconut flakes or pieces and lemongrass. It’s simple, creamy and far from boring, with the “light” that the rooibos brings to the rich taste of coconut and last but not least the lemongrass that brings this blend to a perfect circle. It’s a perfect and cozy beverage that you can enjoy at any time of day.

Feels Like Summer

Hey guys!

Last year around this time, Weezer had an album released and now they are announcing a new one this summer. And the first track their released it’s called “Feels Like Summer”. Let’s not be fooled by the title of the song, this track is more about a former lover that died than anything else, and it doesn’t sound like their usual trademark. It has a little EDM, urban influence to it and less of those classic guitars but still it's an up-beat song that will make you wanna dance a bit. And I’ve got to say I still love this band, it’s good that they changed their style a little and I’m guessing that this new album it’s going to be something interesting.

Now for the tea I’m choosing something so we can actually feel the summer that seems to be right around the corner. It’s a red tea and it’s called Stracciatella Ice Cream (to tell you the truth is one of my favorite flavors of ice cream). This tea is an infusion of: rooibos, cocoa bark, marshmallows, chocolate chips and cornflowers. It’s sweet and it will energize you plus it has chocolate so it’s a plus, at least for some of us.

(Girl We Got A) Good Thing

Hey, guys!

This month Weezer dropped a new album and I found a few songs on it that I love. I’m not going to write about all of them today but just one – „(Girl We Got A) Good Thing”. I fell in love with it from the first chords and I’m still listening to it, loving it even more. It’s a happy, go with the flow song that’s in perfect balance with the summer vibe. And those lyrics that make you feel so good! „Do you want to fly?” is my favorite. And when „Do you want to face the great unknown?” lyric comes along and changes your mood, it makes the ideal way for you to wanna start something new.

So let’s keep this feeling going and drink a tea full of the same emotions! How about Star Dust tea? It's a mix of black tea, buckwheat baked, caramelized almonds, ground almonds, white petals cornflowers. I’m not a big fan of almonds or a fan at all, but in this tea, somehow, I don’t have a problem with them. Maybe it's because some of them are caramelized and that just gives it a splendid punch of sweetness. Yummy!
