Believe

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to chill down and just enjoy what life has got to give and because of that I’m listening to Benjamin Booker’s “Believe”. It’s a soulful track that just makes me just let go and listen to his raspy voice that makes this a great experience. It’s a beautiful song that I can’t stop listing too especially on this windy, cold day. It’s infectious with its blues sound that almost feels like a gospel talking about believing in something and finding a reason for life.

Now for the tea, I’m thinking that an herbal tea is the perfect choice; something that will give us a good feeling, a warm embrace. I have the feeling that Garden Harvest is what is needed. It’s a mix of both fruits and herbs, sweet and calming with just a pinching taste of spices.  The blend is made from: orange peel, lemon peel, chamomile, rose-hips, hibiscus, cloves, cinnamon & cornflower. Anyone can find something to love in this tea, so give it a try.

Someone To You

Hey guys!

I didn’t woke up in a good mood today and I’m trying to change that and because of that I am listening to Banners song “Somebody To You”, an up-beat, up-lifting track with great vocals, drum kicks for my liking and just a sound that I enjoy. This track is supposed to be a confession of love, declaration to a fully commit to a relationship, or the feelings of loneliness and invisibility when the one that you love barely recognizes you exist. I especially like these lyrics: “I'll make the moon shine just for your view/ I'll make the starlight circle the room” because you can feel the love and the things that this person would do for a special someone.

Now for the tea, I’m choosing something fruity and full of aromas, with no caffeine in it. It’s called
Posie's Party Parlor Potion and it’s an infusion made from: apples, hibiscus, elderberry, raspberry, rosehips, cornflowers and sunflower petals, blackberry, strawberry. It’s a simple blend with a divine taste that’s perfect for any occasion.

When I Was Young

Hey guys!

Today I have the pleasure to share with you the track “When I Was Young” by MØ the pop, electronic, indie artist from Denmark. It’s a song full of intoxicating vocals and harmonies that just make you wanna sing with her from the top of your lungs. And at the chorus it’s a different energy, brings a kind of electric swing to the mix and makes everything even better.  Plus when MØ talked about this track she said: <is all about nostalgia and reflecting on life—especially the past, but also the now and the future>, the perfect meaning to a prefect song.

As for the tea, I’m choosing something that I wrote about some time ago, not sure if you’ll remember. The Star dust tea, a wonderful combination of: black tea, buckwheat baked, caramelized almonds, ground almonds, white cornflowers petals. It’s sweet, will give you a lot of energy and it almost fits and the season to come with that taste of caramelized almonds, and like the stores I’m preparing for the holidays in advance.

Smile Like You Mean It

Hey guys!

Today we are going to listen to “Smile Like You Mean It” by The Killers. The re-uploaded the video they did 13 years ago and it was such a wonderful surprise and it just made me actually smile. It’s a fan favorite and anyone listening to this song can find a different meaning. For me is putting a brave face when you hit hard times and continuing life; fake it till you make it comes to mind. It’s definitely a good song to start the day with.

And now for the tea, I’m going to choose another green tea. It’s called Elfentau and it’s a wonderful blend of: green tea, like I said before, sunflower petals, cornflowers, rose petals, mango and bergamot. It has a delightful aroma of both flowers and fruits. And if I’m correct, the last time I wrote about it a said: “it’s perfect for any occasion, especially when you want to impress”, so drink it with confidence, it won’t disappoint.

What Lovers Do

Hey you!

So, today I realize that Maroon 5 has a new single out and it’s one I quite like. It’s called “What Lovers Do” and they are joined be American singer and songwriter SZA. It’s a fun and up-beat, radio friendly, full of dance vibes and a perfect harmonization of vocals. The track is full of sexual innuendos and it even has that sensual vibe too especially since there is a lot of R&B influence. The only thing I have to say that isn’t a compliment of this tune is that feels like Maroon 5 hasn’t done a song like they use to and it feels more like a collaboration for Adam Levine not the hole band. But that’s just my opinion.

And for the tea, I have something that will put you in motion. Something that will give you energy, help you focuses, something that has a wonderful taste and it can even put you in the mood to try the motion of the ocean :D. The tea is called Maté Chai and it’s a perfect combination of:  green mate, cinnamon, ginger pieces, cardamom, cloves, fennel, cornflowers and a bit of chocolate flakes. It’s sweet, full of flavors and perfect in the morning or even at night if you are looking to start something.

Hey you!

Today is the first day of autumn according to the calendar since is the first of September, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have some fun, listing to music, drinking a good tea and enjoy put lives. And today it’s about that, and I’ll start with the song. My choice is an indie, acoustic, folk track from the Australian duo Angus & Julia Stone. The track is called “Chateau” and it’s sweet and relaxing, has a good vibe and it’s about love. Well at list for me. Wanting to run away with that certain someone, to some place where nobody knows you and having the time of your life. And that’s way my favorite lyrics are: “We can go to the Chateau Marmont/ And dance in the hotel room/ We can go to the Chateau Marmont/ And dance we got nothing to lose”.

And for the tea, I’m just creating the perfect blend. I call it At Summer’s Feet J. And it’s a sweet and flowery, fruity blend that you can enjoy at any time of day. It’s a perfect combination of: rooibos, sunflower petals, rose petals, raspberries, cornflowers and sage. They are all summer ingredients and they help with your immune system and uplifting your mood. That’s about it for today, so…

Miles

Hey you!

I’m going to tell you a secret, today feels like a good day. I think we can accomplish a lot today if we put our self’s to work. And because of that I’m sharing with you a song by the rock, folk, American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. The song is called “Miles” and it’s a sweet and soothing ballad, full of emotions that give me good energy. This song has more rock vibe, even pop but less folk, especially with those drums kicking before the chorus. And these are my favorite lyrics: “If you follow me in this mystery/ We could swim inside these crowds”.

And now for the tea, my choice is a new blend I’ve created which I’ve named White Flowers. It’s a mix of: white tea, sunflowers, cornflowers, rose petals, goji berries and just a pinch of raspberries. It’s refreshing, with a touch of caffeine and with a perfectly scented aroma of flowers. You can enjoy it at almost any time of day and it has benefits for your skin, hair and nails, plus a lot more but these felt like the most important.

Plot Twist

Hey guys!

Today we are listening to another pop, electronic track coming from the Norwegian singer Sigrid. “Plot Twist” is the song I’m talking about and it’s catchy, energetic with great vocals and it has something about it that made me keep it on repeat for some hours now. Seems to be about getting over someone after a brake-up and that’s relatable for most of us. I consider this tune to be a fun one especial with lyrics like this: “Do you need me to spell it out loud? You screwed it up/ Plot twist, moved on and now you want me”.

And now for the tea, I’m thinking that something a combination of black tea with something to give it a great aroma might be just what we are looking for. So let’s add some ice to the perfect combination of: black tea, sunflower petals, cornflowers, rose petals, nettle leaves, peppermint and red currant. It’s fruity and full body with benefits for your skin, hair and nails, and it will give you energy to take the day head on. I forgot to say the name of my new blend which is: Sunflower Currant. That’s it for today, now…

Boys

Hey guys!

Today we are listening to some pop music coming from Charli XCX, I’m talking about her single “Boys”. This is a fun and easy song full of good vocal over a glitching video game bleeps. This song feels like something you listen to when it’s too hot outside and you feel like doing nothing, it’s simple, not too energetic, and it gives you a good vibe. Sorry girls but she is busy, she can’t answer that phone, she is thinking about boys. And seeing the new video for this track there is no wonder why.

As for the tea, I’m thinking that something full of ice and fruity might be the perfect combination. So a combination of: blood orange, lemon, cranberries, blueberries, black currant & lemongrass, cornflowers, rose petals and just a bit of mint might just do the trick. I call this blend Heat Slayer. It’s perfect at any time of day, it’s full of antioxidants and it can be enjoyed either hot or cold, depending on your mood.

Inspiration

Hey you!

So today I think I found just the right song for you and I hope you like it. It’s called “Inspiration” and it’s an EDM, dance track, almost future bass but not quite ;), by Unknown Brain featuring Aviella. The beats are pretty amazing and the drops seem to be just the right amount of low and heavy, it’s quite calming to me and they make me just wanna dream more. Aviella’s vocals are amazing as well, her voice sounding a little childish but it really works. Plus the lyrics are inspiring indeed, “Baby you can count on me now/ When you’re falling down” and „I’ll be your heart and temptation/ Cause I know that you’ll make it on your own” being my favorite.

And for the tea, I’ve created a new blend and I call it Hug In A Cup. All the ingredients in this tea are supposed to give you a calm and relaxed vibe; it’s something that will make you feel comfortable, give you a sense of happiness and wrap you up in a worm and sweet embrace. This tea is a combination of:  rooibos, chamomile, stevia leaf, rose petals, cornflower and just a pinch of lemongrass. It’s perfect for any time of day, especially when you want to unwind.

Saw You In A Dream

Hey guys!

Today we are slowing things down and we are enjoying life as it is. And for that I have the perfect tea to share with you, it’s a black tea and green tea with jasmine, rose petals, cornflowers and sunflower petals. This is a fresh and full body tea, bursting with fragrances and just the right amount of caffeine to help you make your day great. I've named this tea The Flower Power :D

As for the song my choice is “Saw You In A Dream” by The Japanese House an indie, electronic, experimental and ambient artist from London. This is a sweet and mellow song that just seems to calm me down, relax and feel the world around me. Written about the death of an old childhood friend the tune has a melancholic and hazy instrumental line perfectly a lined with the light and smooth voice of Amber Bain. And even if you don’t know the true meaning of the song it’s still makes sense as a love song, a heart-break song.

Something In The Way You Move

Hey you!

So I’ve got to say that the past few day have been great, I feel really lucky especially when it comes to the people in my life. And because of that when I rediscovered Ellie Goulding’s song “Something In The Way You Move” it made a lot of sense and I really started loving this track. It’s carefree, upbeat, and it has that pop sound that gets stuck in your head easily. Plus her voice is still amazing and she gives as a lot of hooks and repetitive lyrics so we can sing along with her.

And now for the tea, my choice is (drum roll) The Wedding Cake tea. This is an extremlly beautiful combination of: white tea, green tea, lavender, blue cornflowers and calendula petals & heather flowers. It’s just the perfect blend of refreshing and sweet with a touch of serenity that gets all the tension out of your body. That about it for today, now…

Remember I Told You

‘ello!

Today I’m in the mood for a tea full of flavors, with an amazing smell and an even better taste. And because of that I’ve search a bit and found the perfect one for my craving. It’s called Flower Garden and it’s a beautiful blend of: apple and pear pieces, pink rose buds, strawberries, raspberry, blackberry leaves, cornflowers & marigold flowers, rose petals and chamomile. It’s a perfect beverage for any hour of the day and something that you can enjoy hot or cold.

As for the song, my choice is going to be Nick Jonas’s track “Remember I Told You” featuring Anne-
Marie & Mike Posner. It’s a perfect blend of pop with R&B and electronic beats and it’s a nice summer track. It’s full of smooth vocals that intertwine and create a beautiful harmony. It’s an easy song to get stuck in your head and that might make it into a summer hit that you’ll hear everywhere you go.

Bury Me Face Down

Hey guys!

Right now I’m listening to “Bury Me Face Down” by the Canadian artist Grandson. His sound seems to be a variation of rock/alternative even indie with trap music, and I’ve got to say: I like that. This track is about staying firm on your feet and is supposed to give you the strength needed to survive. There’s a nothing you can say or do to me to stop me from getting where I need to be mentality to this song and that should really help you in your life, well at least sometimes :D

As for the tea, I’m choosing something that has mint and perfect for mornings. It’s a green tea called Moringa Mint and the rest of the ingredients are: mint leaves, moringa leaves, spearmint leaves, cornflower, sunflower petals. It has a smooth taste of mint and that aroma that you can’t get enough of.

Everybody Gets High

Hey guys!

Today’s choice was a little hard for me… I found a band that I haven’t listened to it before and I really love 2 of their song. The band is called Missio, form Austin, Texas and they are an electronic, alternative, space rock duo. The tracks that I love are called “Everybody Gets High” and “Bottom Of The Deep Blue Sea” so if you get a chance listen to them both. But I think for today's entries I’m going to go with “Everybody Gets High” cause it’s more energetic and it's hypnotizing, something about it just gets me hooked in this infections track. To tell you the truth it got me with the first lyric “Once upon a time in a land far away” it felt like something that would get you a mystical high.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a herbal tea called Feng Shui (Strawberry/Bergamot), this it’s a blend created to help you with the synchronization among humans and their surroundings. In order to create this Chi (positive, free flowing energy) they used a mixture of: apple pieces, goji berries, dragonfruit, lemongrass, blackberry leaves, nettle leaves, orange peel, eucalyptus leaves, carrot flakes, bergamot, cornflowers and marigold. You just have to add the fifth element, the water, and let the energy’s flow thru you.

Calm Snow

Hey guys!

Today I’m going to share my new guilty pleasure. It’s an EHM track (electronic hardcore music) from the band I See Stars and it’s called “Calm Snow”. It has a little pop vibe to it, tough vocals and synth-driven verses that seem to play well with the catchy chorus. I was hoping for a little more guitar riffs and heavier drum kicks but either way I like this song. Mostly because it seems this track has a lot of other influences all around it and that makes it worthwhile.

As for the tea I’m choosing a rooibos tea, mostly because I’ve already drunk my morning tea. Plus this is a wonderful beverage full of aromas and it has a divine taste. It’s called Zero Toxi and it’s a combination of: rooibos, green rooibos, red vine leaves, pieces of apricot, lemon peel and cornflowers. I’m not usually a fan of apricot but in small doses and just for the aroma how can I not like it.

Hug Of Thunder

Hey guys!

Today seems like it’s going to be great day and because of that I’m drinking a green tea. It’s a simple one with just cornflowers added to the mix of green tea and i's called Green Leaves Blue Sky. It’s a fresh and relaxing beverage, full of antioxidants and vitamins with a wonderful aroma of cornflowers. To give it a little punch you can add some cinnamon and have a new kind of experience.

And now for the song… today I found the new single from the indie, alternative, rock Canadian group Broken Social Scene. The track I called “Hug Of Thunder” and it’s an easy to listen melody, with a slow tempo that builds up and gives you a little “thunder”. Feist takes over the vocals and delivers a heartwarming performance that for me is going to be easy to remember.

Jamie

Hey guys!

Today I’m thinking of drinking a maté tea, one with chocolate so I get the energy to survive the day. It’s called Maté Chocolate and it contains: maté roasted rooibos, cocoa pieces, chocolate bits, barley malt, coconut rasps, cinnamon, cloves and cornflower blossoms. It’s sweet and fruity, with an easy to remember flavor.

As for the song I just found the song “Jamie” from the indie rock band Nightair. It’s a fun song that will make you wanna move a little. It seems to be about a girl named Jamie, her ex-boyfriend is the narrator and he is trying to explain to her new boyfriend that Jamie only likes him for what he is, “A shiny new toy to be used” J. It’s a cute song that might make you smile once you hear it.

All In You

Hey you!

This morning I woke up with a craving for a green tea, and I think I have the perfect blend in mind for all you to enjoy. It’s called the Elfentau tea and it’s a blend of: green tea, sunflower petals, cornflowers, rose petals, mango and bergamot. It has a taste and aroma to die for. It’s not too sweet and it’s perfect for any occasion, especially when you want to impress.

Now for the tune my choice is “All In You” by the English indie-pop band Bare Traps. This band and song isn’t too well-known but there is something about this track that I really enjoy. The track has a spring morning vibe to it, it’s energetic, has a frenetic pace and the most important it’s catch. Plus the lyrics are really cute, especially with “I found it all in you” and “You will always be mine” those really do the trick for me.

Aftergold

Happy Easter everybody!

How about today we just listen to something that’s fun and makes us dance? I’m thinking that “Aftergold’ form Big Wild featuring the Swedish singer Tove Styrke. It’s an infectious track that just gives you a great feeling whenever you listen to it. It’s happy and with sunny disposition sound to it, and her voice and lyrics just make this track irresistible.  “You want a pilot and a jet plane./ Newsflash: it ain’t worth the pain” that made the song even better for me :d

As for the tea I think that Spring Mix might do the trick and just make the day better. It’s an infusion of flowers and fruits that has a refreshing sweet taste and an aroma that you will never forget. It contains: rose-hip peels, hibiscus, apple pieces, orange and lemon peel, cornflowers, peonies, sunflower petals, melon and raspberry. Give it a try, maybe add some ice if it's too hot outside.
