Dancing In the Daylight

Hello!

Today we are listening to a feel good track coming from the indie band Scouting For Girls. The song is called “Dancing In the Daylight”, is characteristic of the band’s usual sound, full with catchy, repetitive lyrics. It’s not particularly memorable or something that stands out so much but it’s a nice addition whenever it pops on your playlist. It’s an upbeat and feel-good track, perfect for hopeful and sunny days.

And for the tea, I’m going to choose Ruby Spice Cider from Teavana.  It’s a combination of: cinnamon, apple pieces, hibiscus flowers, carob pieces, rooibos, ginger, grapes, chicory root, plum pieces, elderberries, orange peels and pomegranate. It’s a great blend, one that celebrates the seasons with festive colors and an awesome taste. That’s it for today, now…

Hello!

Today even thou I woke up, did my morning routine and started working I still feel a little sleepy so I decided to drink some green tea, something with fruits and a tea that will make me enjoy today even more. This tea is a blend of: green tea, Honeybush, raspberries, safflower, corn flowers, grapes and its called Royal tea.

As for the song I am going to choose “South” by Hippo Campus, an indie, pop band from Minnesota. This track has a summery vibe; it’s easy, cheerful and infections. I’ve been listening to it since I woke up. It has this repetition to it that just makes you remember the lyrics that are trying to speak about growing up, acknowledging what it is and still take your own path, in this case “down South”.

Time (Post-Rock)

I’ve been obsessed with this song for a couple of weeks now and I thought I should share it with you. “Time (Post-Rock)” by Kitchen, a band from Switzerland. This is an amazing track that’s chill and slow in the beginning and afterwards, it becomes heavier and harder to resist it. I’ve enjoyed this song so much, I hope you guys at least like it.

For me this song is quite calming and I think it will pear up good with a green tea. Something in the line of Royal tea because it’s a blend of green tea, Honey bush, raspberries, safflower, cornflowers & grapes. It’s a bit energizing thanks to the caffeine in the green tea, but nothing too much,so it won’t keep you awake if you’re drinking it at night.

Renaissance Affair

Hey, guys!

Here is a song that I just adore and I’ve loved it ever since I first heard it: „Renaissance Affair” by Hooverphonic. This track is one of the best that I know from this band, but I enjoy more the version with the orchestra because of the string and the horns! The lyrics are brilliant. To me it speaks about a kind of love you can’t manage too well „About these feelings we can't control”and the lust that it creates „I miss you all the time I must face/ I miss your touch and your embrace”. That designs the perfect ending for me.

To make the perfect combination with this song, I’m going to choose a tea that is soothing and calming but also it has some caffeine so it won’t make you sleepy. Lavender Dream, a blend of white tea, lavender of course, grapes, apple, papaya, peach, citrus peels, carrot pieces, lemon verbena, rosebuds, passion flower herb and marigold petals. Perfect as an afternoon tea, plus it will help your immune system, skin health, anxious problems and it has the greatest taste. Yummy!
