It’s been raining here since yesterday and because of that I think that a tea with
chamomile might be the perfect beverage to drink. This one is one of my own
blends as well and it’s a combination of: chamomile, ginkgo biloba, stevia,
nettle leaves, rose petals, sunflower petals and lemongrass. This will
stimulate your memory and brain activity, reduces stress and anxieties, and
strengthens your immune system. And the name I gave this blend is Brainiac.
Now when it comes to the song, I’m choice is going to be “A Hint Of The Sea” by Glories, an American post-rock, ambient, atmospheric band. This
is an outstanding song, clear, full of sounds that create a wonderful memory. I
especially like that the beginning of the song slowly starts to build up in a
way that doesn’t feel rushed and it gives you time to assimilate all the good
things about it. It’s the perfect combination for rainy weather.

Today I found a song that I thought it was about love and everything
cute about it but after listening a few more times and reading the lyrics I realized
that it’s about how imperfect love is and how easily people change, it’s about past
lovers and the impact they have on one’s life. It’s called “Cross My Mind” and
it’s by ARIZONA featuring Kiiara. I still like this track because it’s full of
great vocals and a sound that seems to infiltrate every part of you.
As for the tea, I’m choosing something different. A green
tea with green coffee beans and goji berries, acai cubes, apple, white
hibiscus, beetroot. It’s an interesting blend called Green Coffee Beans and it
has flavored aroma that you will not be able to forget any time soon. It’s good
for your health, enhance you energy levels, improves your blood circulation,
boosts your mental function, protects the liver and of course it’s perfect to strengthen

Today I’m opting for a straight forward love
song. It’s called “Death Of Love” and it’s by the English singer Sophie
Ellis-Bextor. It’s an elegant, charming
track that creates an endearing picture that talk about love. Like always her
voice is perfectly balance by the electronic and acoustics sound and she
delivers a heartwarming track full of meaningfully lyrics. My favorite has to
be “But in my mind we're king and queen/ You make the best of everything”, it
really speaks to me.
Now for the tea, I’m choosing something as loving
as the song. It’s called Té Amoré and it’s a simple blend made of: lemongrass,
ashwagandha root, coconut flakes, carob bean, rose petals, oat-straw and passionflower.
It has a sweet, lemony and chocolaty taste to is that will help with your
immune system, digestion, anxiety and it can even boost your energy.

I just found this song by Of Monsters And
Men, an indie, folk band from Iceland. This track is called “Empire” and it’s
quite the melodic and stunning. It has some beautiful lyrics that are more
poetic and it can have a few interpretations.
But it sounds truly good and it’s catchy. They brought the images of
land and weather to this melody that can signify a lot of things. Like the rain
which often symbolizes bad things that can turn out for the better. Find you
own meaning in this song, see what sticks with you.
I think this track would pair up nice with
a white tea, one with some fruits even. How about a White Cherry tea? It’s a
blend of: white tea, cherries, coconut flakes, rosebuds and a little jasmine.
This will bring lots of flavor to your life and benefits. Like: boosting your

I’ve been a fan of Troye Sivan ever since
he started on YouTube, but his new song keeps playing on repeat in my head. I’m
talking about “Wild”, the new version where the tempo is slightly speeded up
and he is accompanied by Alessia Cara. Their voices seem to melt together. And
by the way, she wrote her own lyrics that fit the theme of the song perfectly.
That makes this song even better in my book.
Since this track has a faster peace, I
think the tea should also give you a boost, and for that the Minty Mate is the
perfect choice. That’s a blend of green mate, lemongrass and, of course,
peppermint. This will help with your blood pressure, skin health, stress,
immune system and it’s an aid in weight loss. Enjoy it!

Blink 182? Guess what I found? A new track of theirs that I just love. It’s
called “Rabbit Hole” and it talks about not listening to your brain sometimes.
A pretty great advice if you ask me. This song had me at the first lyric “Dear
head, shut up”. I need that from time to time… head just shut up! I know I
haven’t done my job today, but I don’t wanna hear about it :P Let’s see… I don’t
have anything else to say about this since it stills sounds so much like the
Blink 182 we all know and love.
This song
put me in a mood for mango, I don’t know why. But I will give in and I’m going
to choose Organic Mango tea– a blend of black tea and mango, that’s it. But it
has a lot of benefits, like for your blood, skin health, immune system and, of
course, it’s the perfect energizer. Plus, since is so hot outside, you can
always turn it into an iced tea.

Another day, another song. This one has been
on repeat all day: “Soundcheck” by Catfish and the Bottlemen. Very catchy tune,
with a melody that builds up to the bridge and creates a bold and bigger sound,
more of a rock-like sound rather than an indie one. Plus, the guitar solo is
amazing; it makes waves in my head. Since I’ve listened to this song on repeat for
a good couple of hours now,I fell in love with a cute lyric that makes me smile
every time “You can fall asleep with my jacket as a cover/And wake up just to
join me to smoke”.
Let’s see… right now I am drinking a
cranberry & strawberry tea. Of course that those are not the only
ingredients in this tea.There are others including apple, rose-hip, raisins,
hibiscus, lemongrass and orange peel, which means this tea is going to have a
sweet & sour taste that is perfect even if you feel like turning it into an
iced tea.

How are you guys feeling today? Because I’m pretty good, drinking tea and listening to music. This is definitely a good combination for me. Right now I’m drinking a black currant and mint iced tea (it has black tea in it as well), perfect for the weather outside. It’s summer FINALLY! :P Since all the ingredients I’ve mentioned are perfect for rising the energy levels, this feels like it’s going to be a great day. Maybe even better if I go outside for a walk or something.
I’m also listening to „Sugar” by Karmin. Remember when they did that cover for Busta Rhymes’s „Look at me Now”? I think that was awesome! But I also really like this song, a bit of rapping that Amy’s voice makes it even more inviting. Plus, I’m pretty sure everyone has or had in their lives that person that they would like to say: „Sugar, I can't think about anybody but you” to.

Guess what? Garbage just dropped a new
album “Strange Little Birds” and the first single from this record is “Empty”.
I liked it from the first listen, maybe because I’ve missed this band's sound
or maybe because it’s just good. This track is perfect for those of us who are
lovesick. It’s has sympathetic and caring sound, but also somehow accusatory.
These lyrics say it all: “I'm so empty/You're all I'm thinking about”, “Every
day, every hour of the night/You're all I dream about”.
Since this song is a nice, fresh comeback,
how about a tea that will put you in a good mood? If you wanna have energy, if

Guys, have you heard about Stuck in the
Sound, the French, indie rock band? They have a song that I enjoy very much,that’s
called „Let’s Go”. It has an infectious riff and it’s obviously a good track.
The lyrics and the video seem to be talking about chasing your dreams but not
letting them consume you. “In the sun I
bathe, in everyday light/You draft me
down for a split second tomorrow/What am I supposed to do?” You just
have to pick yourself up and then just go.
The tea should be something that you would
like to enjoy every day, something like Sundew – a blend of green tea, mango,
apricot with sunflower & red rose blossoms and cornflowers. This tea gives

“Inside Out” by The
Chainsmokers featuring Charlee. This song has a
lovely message and Charlee’s voice is raw and breathtaking and it somehow
consumes you into the song which makes everything even better. Also I think the
beats of the song just fit perfectly. It’s an emotional track that speaks about
love, unconditional love to be précised, and it’s pure and extremely sweet.
Since summer is finally here and this is a
love song, I‘m choosing Summer Love tea,a mix of rooibos, apple pieces,
rose-hip, strawberry pieces. This tea will give you energy, has a fruity
taste and its red coloring brings everything perfectly together. Plus, this tea is
good of your skin and we need good skin to show off in the summer, AmIright?:P

I was in a
funny mood today and this song pulled me out of it: „Rosie” by The Kooks. It’s
a catchy tune, it has an excellent rhythm and quite a Beatles vibe. It’s an
emotional song with a satisfying beat, plus the name does a lot more for me other
than just making me feel good. The lyrics are perfect: „Lust will do funny
things / I don't want you to go out looking so good” (somebody’s getting
jealous) „But you're a
big girl and I think you already know / You've been bought and sold”. I
definitely like this song.
I don’t
think I know a tea that goes with this kind of lust. I'm kidding :P Let’s see…how
about Chai Indienne? It’s a mix of black tea, cinnamon, ginger bits, cloves,
cardamom, black pepper, rose petals, vanilla bits (if you like vanilla) &
safflowers. It's an energizing tea, with a little bit of spice to put you in
the mood to try the motion of the ocean. Plus,it has other health benefits like:

Here is a
song that I just adore and I’ve loved it ever since I first heard it:
„Renaissance Affair” by Hooverphonic. This track is one of the best that I know
from this band, but I enjoy more the version with the orchestra because of the
string and the horns! The lyrics are brilliant. To me it speaks about a kind of
love you can’t manage too well „About these feelings we can't control”and the
lust that it creates „I miss you all the time I must face/ I miss your touch
and your embrace”. That designs the perfect ending for me.
To make the
perfect combination with this song, I’m going to choose a tea that is soothing
and calming but also it has some caffeine so it won’t make you sleepy. Lavender
Dream, a blend of white tea, lavender of course, grapes, apple, papaya, peach,
citrus peels, carrot pieces, lemon verbena, rosebuds, passion flower herb and
marigold petals. Perfect as an afternoon tea, plus it will help your immune
system, skin health, anxious problems and it has the greatest taste. Yummy!

the Swedish pop group Ace Of Bass? The last 2 weeks I’ve been listening to them
more than the usual and I thought that makes perfect sense to write about a
song of theirs. How about „Unspeakable”? It's not one of the band’s most known
track, but I actually love this one. The sound is bubbly and the lyrics are
catchy: „All I wanna say to you is na na na na Unspeakable”. Let’s say that 2002
wasn’t their best year.
The tea
should be something that you will remember, at least from time to time, like I
do with this band and song. That means I’m going to choose ... Wild Orange

Today I
need your help with something. I need your help in wishing happy birthday to
one of my favorite persons in the world. A person I just adore and love with
all my heart, my sister. Today is her special day, so this will be a longer

sister, I hope you have one of the most amazing days and I hope this is going
to be the year for you (I’m still going to wish you this every year no matter
how big and famous you get). You know how much I love you, even thou I don’t
always say it. You are one of the most brilliant, mesmerizing and perfect
people I know, and I’m not just saying that, I actually believe it. I know you
can do anything and that you will have everything you wish in this world, and if
I can, I will help you with that. I love you!
Since it’s
her birthday, she gets her favorites, and I’m even going to quote her here and
there :P Her pick is „Symphony No. 5 in B flat – Allegro” by W.A. Mozart. This
symphony has a happy mood and a light breeze that will give you goose bumps and make everything perfect just by a
listen. Even thou it’s not summer yet,
this is the perfect start for a summer day. This is a melody that makes me
smile and like she said, it’s pure love.
I hope you enjoy it as much as she does because I know what this song means to
her, and the fact that she lets me share this feeling with you, it makes it
even better.
Peppermint
tea has been her favorite since we were kids and that hasn't change after all
these years. Peppermint tea is a delicious and a refreshing way to raise your
energy levels and to boost your health in a few ways: it reduces pain,
eliminates inflammation, relaxes the body and the mind, aids in weight loss and
boosts the immune system. I used to hate it when we were little, but now I seem
to be drinking it almost every day, in combination with other teas, plants or

is been quite a good one for me and because of that, I’m choosing one of my
favorite post-rock songs: „Polaris” by Exxasens. I’ve loved this track for so
long, I can’t even remember a time when I didn’t know it. It has a
space-ish kinda sound, with a lot of emotions running thru it. The half of the
first minute does it for me.
For the tea
I’m going to choose something that boosts your energy, but also keeps you
grounded, a Snow Geisha White Tea. It’s a blend of white tea, cherries,
cranberries, rosebuds & rose petals. It's a light and refreshing cherry
infusion that will take you on a journey to everywhere. Plus, it will help you

Here’s another
song I started liking because of the piano :D It’s just in the beginning but it
counts. I’m talking about „Faded”,an electric ballad by Alan Walker. Iselin
Solheim’s sweet and mellow voicepairs up perfectly with the piano in the
beginning and the rest of the beats. Plus, the lyrics „Were you only
imaginary?” is an interesting way to make sense of everything when you don’t
understand what is going to happen. And „You were the shadow to my light” is
just another way to say that „you are (you were for this purpose) my
everything”.
For the
tea, I’m choosing something relaxing and calming, just like the song, something
like the Serenity Wellness Tea. It’s a blend of chamomile, blackberry,
lemongrass, apple, hibiscus, spearmint, lemon balm, lavender,
marigold flowers, rose-hip peels, beetroot pieces (for color), orange &
rose petals. This tea will create a ritual for every time you want to relax and
take things easy.

I’m in a
rock-ish mood and I’m not sure how long it will last, but I’m taking advantage
of it.
I’m
listening to Muse (there is no need for me to talk about them, I trust
everybody has heard of this band). „Hysteria”, quite an old song of theirs, but
one with a powerful sound that gives you a boost from the start and makes you
wanna jump up & down with its rhythm. It’s a catchy tune that you can
listen to on repeat like I’m doing right now :D
With this
rhythm I’m sure that a spice tea will go perfectly. Spice Cocoa is a mix of
cacao beans, cinnamon, licorice root, apple, ginger, clove, nutmeg, black
pepper and, if you like it, vanilla. Cacao and the licorice root will energize
you; apple, ginger & nutmeg will improve you immune system; clove and
cinnamon will help you with the motion of the ocean, and black pepper and

Last night
I was in a taxi and this song was playing and it reminded me of my teenage
years. I used to listen to this band a lot. I’m talking about Pendulum, a drum
& bass band from Australia. And the song I’m referring to is „Encoder”.
This is quite the track for me, now that I’m listening to it again, not only
the beat but also the lyrics, like „For everything that could have been, Well
at least we took the ride”, make perfect sense when something is about to end,
don’t you think?
As for the
tea, I believe that something tropical will go nicely with this song...
something that stirs in you the feeling of wanting more when things are on the
brink of ending, something like Passion Tango Tea. This is a blend of mango,

So today I
tried a tea just for its name – Dragonfly Song tea. How lovely does that sound?
It’s a mix of lemon, mint & spearmint leaves that has a few benefits for

a little down.
It should
go well with the next song, a song that I love, by the way. I even shared it
with one of my favorite people right when I found it, a few years ago, and she
loved it instantly. I’m talking about „King For A Day” by Pierce The Veil
featuring Kellin Quinn. It’s a post-hardcore, screamo track that’s about
getting pushed passed the breaking point and the fact that sometimes there are
too many things going thrugh your mind. But like the tea, it will raise your
mood, pump you up and enliven you with energy. Hope you enjoy it as much as I
