Perfect

Hey guys!

For today I need you to help me wish my big sister a happy birthday. Even thou her birthday was yesterday we are going to celebrate some more today and even on the weekend, because she is one of the most important people in my life and she deserves it. I’m so happy to be her little sister, the littlest, to have grown up with her and to share all the important moments in our life, no matter the kilometers between us. Now let’s get into her choices.

For the song, a flawless, warm and fuzzy ballad “Perfect” from Ed Sheeran. There is a way this artist finds a way into your heart with some amazing songs but this time (in my opinion) he quite outdone himself, I see why my sister like this tune. My favorite lyrics come from the chorus “I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms/ Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song” and I’m sure you have one just as sweet as your favorite. Plus add the video to the mix and you get a heartwarming story with picture-perfect snow, cozy sweaters and adorable kittens.

As for the tea, that’s simple, apparently nothings change since last year and she still loves her green tea with raspberries, named last year Raspberry Green tea. And what’s not to love, it’s refreshing, has a fruity palate, gives you a little energy and it fits perfect in that cozy, fuzzy, warm picture that Ed Sheeran painted. It became something I always have in the house because of that simpleness and yet complex taste and aroma it brings to the table.

Never My Love

Right now I’m listening to a cover of classic love song. I’m talking by “Never My Love” a hit from the ‘60 from the band The Association, which is a sweet love song that pledges infinite commitment and it even makes you believe that such a thing exists. The cover is done be the indie, pop-rock band Knox Hamilton and it’s a fresh, cute and no too sugary :D.   

As for the tea, I’m going to choose just for us a blend made with: rooibos, chamomile, carob, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and orange peel. It’s called the Classic Chai and it has one of the most perfect combinations of ingredients. It’s a relaxing and full of flavor beverage that you can enjoy at any given hour.

Just You And I

It’s getting warmer outside and that means that some of us will start enjoying the lavender tea again. Because of that I’m choosing the easiest blend ever made of just green tea and lavender. It’s refreshing with a light floral taste to it. Plus with just a little ice it can turn into the most perfect beverage.

For the song I’m going to slow thing down and enjoy Tom Walker’s new track “Just You And I”. It’s an emotional track in which you can feel the love that Tom is singing about. It a sweet melody that from the first listen made me really love the song and keep it on repeat. Plus the lyrics are extremely cute, like: “'Cause my darling, you and I/ Could take over the world” and “I can tell you anything,
You won't judge/ You're just listening, yea/ 'Cause you're the best thing that ever happened to me”

Ultralife

So for the past few days I haven’t have so much to sleep and every morning it’s hard to just get out if bed. But with a little help I’m able to do it. Like today I’m drinking a Wildkirsche tea which is a blend of black tea with cherries and rose petals. It’s an infusion with a great taste and full of flavors. Plus the rose petals give this tea a perfect aroma that makes you wanna try conquer the world.

As for the song my choice is “Ultralife” by the electro-pop duo Oh Wonder. This track is about that feeling of serenity you get when you meet someone.  It’s a lovesick song full of cute lyrics and accompanied by a slow and not to heavy beat that makes you feel better. Plus this part “I got love falling like the rain/ I never could've asked for more” just makes me enjoy this song even more.

Death Of Love

Today I’m opting for a straight forward love song. It’s called “Death Of Love” and it’s by the English singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.  It’s an elegant, charming track that creates an endearing picture that talk about love. Like always her voice is perfectly balance by the electronic and acoustics sound and she delivers a heartwarming track full of meaningfully lyrics. My favorite has to be “But in my mind we're king and queen/ You make the best of everything”, it really speaks to me.

Now for the tea, I’m choosing something as loving as the song. It’s called Té Amoré and it’s a simple blend made of: lemongrass, ashwagandha root, coconut flakes, carob bean, rose petals, oat-straw and passionflower. It has a sweet, lemony and chocolaty taste to is that will help with your immune system, digestion, anxiety and it can even boost your energy.

Waterfall

Today I stumble upon the new single released a few days ago from Stargate featuring Sia & Pink, and you now it’s going to be amazing since is so much star power here. The song is called “Waterfall” and it’s about how you feel safe under the protection of someone you love. Their voices blend together and they delivered a beautiful track, one that makes me push the replay button. Plus when Pink sings “You may find me, 'cause my heart beats loud, so loud/ It beats fast, in the places where you touched me last” or when Sia sings “Baby, you're my oxygen/ When I cannot find my way on Earth” I’m like: damn, I can relate.

Now for the tea I’m choosing a rooibos one. That feels right, because it doesn’t contain caffeine but it will still give you a boost in energy, and it also contains some my favorite aphrodisiac :D. So this is a spice infusion of; rooibos, cinnamon, candied coconut pieces, ginger pieces, cloves, rose petals, cardamom, black pepper and vanilla pieces if you are in to that. And I forgot, the name of the tea is Dosha Chai.

Call On Me

Today I’m going to start with the tea and share with you a personal blend that I drink for time to time and one that I share with one of my favorite people in the world. I’ve named Pretty Red & Black and it’s a mix of: rooibos & black tea with rosebuds, petals of peonies, roses, daisies, strawberries, raspberries. I really love this taste, it’s sweet, flowery and it will keep you energized for a few hours.

As for the song I’m choosing “Call On Me” by Starley a dance/ pop artist from Australia. I feel in love with this track from the first listen. It starts simple with just an acoustic guitar and her voice and after that it graduates to an EDM sound. It has some really cute lyrics; they talk about how she would do anything for the person she loves if they call for some help. “When you're weary/ And the road is dark/ And I'll guide you” & “When you're, you need someone (Just call on me)/ You need somebody to cling to (Call on me)” this are definitely my favorite parts if the song.

Issues

Hey you!

This song I found today and I just feel in love with it from the first listen. It’s a confessional track that has the perfect beat and vibe to be a love song. It’s called “Issues” and it’s by Julia Micheals a young songwriter with a lot of hits under her belt (just Google her you will see). Her voice combined with all the perfect lyrics that somehow make perfect sense even thou I don’t relate with all of them. But there are a few that I just adore. The one that I just adore is in the chorus actually at the end of it: “Yeah, I got issues/ And one of them is how bad I need you”. And to tell you the truth with every listen I just adore this melody more. Hope you like it.

As for the tea I think a found the perfect one to pair it with this track. It’s called Salted Dark Chocolate and it’s a combination of: black tea, green tea, cocoa beans and powder, bits of chocolate, apple, barley and a little bit of sea salt. You can add a little vanilla to it if you like, that could make it better for some of you. It’s a very aromatic and full a flavor tea and it you try it once you might never let this blend go.

Mad About You

Hey you!

So today I’m going to start with the tea, something that will give us some energy but also keep us is a calm state if mind. The tea is called Ginger Aronia and it’s a mix of: ginger, cumin, anise, lemongrass, aronia berries, sage flowers, licorice root, rose petals, mint and star anise. This tea is perfect for any occasion just don’t drink excessively because even though the licorice root has a lot of benefices it has some side effects to.

Now when it comes to the song I know the perfect one just for you. It’s called “Mad About You” and it’s Koni, a German producer, featuring Danelle, a singer from LA. This track fits in the deep house, melodic house genres and I’ve got to say I fell in love with it from the first listen. It has a mellow and warm vibe to it and some very stunning lyrics. If you are in love with someone you are going to agree with the lyrics. I have a few favorites of course, like: “I feel the magic in my veins/ It's like I'm sipping a potion/ Only you can give to me” and of course because of all the things you make feel “my body is feeling kind of weak”. It’s a perfect melody that explains some of the feelings that you feel for the right person.

Today seems like the perfect day to just enjoy the world and the life and love out there, and because of that I have chosen a tea that does that exact thing. It’s called Colorful and it’s an herbal blend of: apple bits, cumin, orange peel, lemongrass, rose petals, cornflowers and marigold.  I love this tea because most of the herbs have meanings to then and that makes the taste even better, at least for me. Like the marigold is a symbol of sunny days with good health, joy, and affection. So let’s have a very great day, appreciate the sun and have a blast with whomever is right there with us.

Since this tea is so easy going and will give you a good mood, let’s keep that and let’s listen to “K.” by Cigarettes After Sex. An ambient pop collective, at least that’s the self-description by these musicians. This song creates an emotional road like longing for someone you love “Think I like you best when you’re just with me”. It’s a seductive track with a soft melody and a voice that blends perfectly. “Stay with me I don't want you to leave...” it’s the feeling this song gives to me.

From Here To Mars

Here is a song that I just find adorable. It’s a love song of course, that explains the things love makes you feel, or see when it comes to a certain someone.  “From Here To Mars” it’s the name of this track and it’s by We The Kings an American pop-punk, pop-rock band. It has an upbeat melody and some beautiful lyrics that I really agree with :D, mostly this one: “Forever lost inside your eyes/ Every galaxy spinning inside”.

Now because Mars it the red planet how about we drink a red too. A Spicy Chilli? It’s a combination of: rooibos, rosebuds, rose petals, carrot flakes, saffron and chili flakes. It has a stunning aroma and a perfect smell, I don’t think you can just drink this once and not try it again; it’s that kind of tea.

I Wanna Get Lost With You

So because of someone I found a new blend that I just love. Not sure what to name it but I’ve got to say it’s a flavor of all the good days. It’s a combination of: black tea, rooibos, orange peel, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, a bit of ginger and also cacao powder. It has all the right ingredients to transform your day, and when you drink it with someone you love it gets even better.

Let’s see, for the song I’m choosing “I Wanna Get Lost With You” by Stereophonics. It’s a love song and it captures the energy and the moment of first falling in love with someone and not being able to get them out of your head. The drums being kicked makes you tap your foot right from the start. Plus simplicity and memorable rhyme help with that. And Kelly Jones’ alluring vocals just brings all those things together and turns it into something unforgettable.

So yesterday I got a new tea, the truth is that I actually got it as a present from one of my favorite people. And this morning the first thing I did after I brushed my teeth and wash my face, I heated some water to try this tea out. It’s called Pretty Woman and it’s a blend of: rooibos, raspberry leaves, rosebuds, peonies, rose petals, daisies, strawberries and raspberries. This tea has a lot of flavor to it and an even greater smell. This is going to become a necessity from now on.

Now let’s talk about todays song. It’s called “For You” by JPB featuring Luke Cusato, a trap, electronic, future base track. It has some stunning vocals combined with some amazing beats and drops. The lyrics talk about love and the things that it makes you feel and do for the person you love. “And in my dreams, nothing came close/ To you” and “I've seen the best of you unfold/ And all of that you've become” this are some of my favorite lyrics.

Still The One

Hey, you!

The thing is that when speaking words isn’t enough, we sing. When singing doesn’t do the trick, we dance, and that’s exactly what happens when I listen to this song. It’s called “Still The One” and it’s by Ingrid Michaelson. It’s a funky track, full of harmonies, clapping and cute & lovely lyrics. You can feel the happiness flowing thru this song, it radiates love. “We dance in the living room and/ We move to the beating of our blood”. This is exactly what I wanna do when I hear this song. Plus, I relate to a lot of the lyrics throughout the song, like this one: “This is a life that we never knew”, but especially: “I’m still the one that’s in love with you”. The last one makes me feel even better.

So we can keep dancing to this melody, I think a black tea is in order to give us enough energy. And for this blend, I’m going to choose a Ginger Chai, which is a combination of: black tea, ginger, licorice root, lemongrass, peppermint and black pepper. It’s going to be spicy, but if you don’t like that, don’t let it infuse for more than 3 minutes.

I'll Be Good

Today I’m listening to “I’ll Be Good” by Jaymes Young an indie, alternative songwriter from LA. This sounds like a ballade, but it’s darker and authentic. He is promising to be good and you will not be able to not feel his pain trying to redeem himself. You can feel his guilt thru his voice and that makes him a good artist.

The tea should be something that after feeling all this emotions will help us “be good”, and for that I have the perfect tea. It’s a blend of: fennel, green rooibos, linden flower, orange peel, raspberries, licorice root, neem, cinnamon, chili pepper, elderberry & Echinacea. It will give you a bit of energy but mostly you’ll just enjoy the full flavors this tea has to offer. And it’s also called Feel Better tea, that right there is just the perfect combination.

Someday

Hey guys!

I’m in a good mood again and I found the perfect song to keep me in it. It’s a ukulele base track; it’s very lovely and cheerful. It’s called “Someday” and it’s by Michael Buble and Megan Trainor and apparently it’s written by Harry Styles. Michael’s and Megan’s voices make the perfect combination to tell us the song’s story about a boy and a girl who always liked each other but for some reasons they haven’t ended up together. But they don’t lose the hope of “Someday” when they’ll be together. “I’m forever only yours” is definitely what I’m going to sing all day :D

For the tea I’m choosing a black tea with chocolate cherries. It will taste absolutely divine and it’s going to make for the perfect beverage to drink today. Plus it’s called Cordially Yours; even the name is faultless and combines effortlessly with this beautiful track.

In The Name Of Love

Hey, you!

Let’s start this day with a happy tune and a good vibe! So I’m introducing you “In The Name Of Love” by Martin Garrix featuring Bebe Rexha. It’s a the perfect combination between Bebe’s increasing soprano and Martin electronic dance beats, with some beautiful lyrics that make you think of “what would you do in the name of love” for the one you love (I would do pretty much anything). But the lyrics I most agree with are: “Would you rise up, come and meet me in the sky?/ Would you trust me when you're jumping from the heights?/ Would you fall in the name of love?”, mostly because I am afraid of heights, but I’m pretty sure I would fall :D

I’ve accumulated enough information to make my own perfect blends of flavors, and today I’ve combined my love of black tea, cherries and aniseed with, hopefully, someone else’s love of almonds :D in my Almond Cherry tea. It’s the perfect afternoon tea, with some biscuits on the side and some good company.

Build To Last

“Build To Last” by Melee. I’ve known this song for a long time, but it never made more sense to me like it does now. It has a catchy tune and some adorable lyrics. “You're in my heart now./And there's no escaping it for you.” J) Just saying that, that might be true mostly “'Cause you are the sun in my universe”. What a pretty way to put things!

When I think about or listen to this track, I see it going well with something sweet, something like a Sweet Orange tea. That’s a mix of green mate, orange peel and bits & licorice root. This will energize you and help you have a great day, actually a great time, no matter the hour.

Heartlines

Today I’m in a mood for something sweet that I can enjoy it hot or cold, depending if the temperature outside rises (let’s hope it doesn’t). So, what do you think about Passionfruit tea? It’s a mix of black tea with passion fruit. Because of the ingredients, mainly the passion fruit, this tea is good for your eyes, can treat insomnia and reduces stress and anxiety. Plus, it will give you energy and the taste is amazing.

About this song I want to say that the first time I listened to it, it was at night, maybe 1 or 2 AM, and it was one of those moments when everything is chill and you just think about what happened thru the day, good or bad. The song is called “Heartlines” and it’s by Broods. It’s a love song with a bass that you could dance to. “I wanna feel you heartlines” it’s all I can think about when I hear this track.

Inside Out

"Let me see the dark sides as well as the bright/ I'm gonna love you inside out" it’s just an amazing way to tell someone how much you love them.That’s exactly what is happening in “Inside Out” by The Chainsmokers featuring Charlee. This song has a lovely message and Charlee’s voice is raw and breathtaking and it somehow consumes you into the song which makes everything even better. Also I think the beats of the song just fit perfectly. It’s an emotional track that speaks about love, unconditional love to be précised, and it’s pure and extremely sweet.

Since summer is finally here and this is a love song, I‘m choosing Summer Love tea,a mix of rooibos, apple pieces, rose-hip, strawberry pieces. This tea will give you energy, has a fruity taste and its red coloring brings everything perfectly together. Plus, this tea is good of your skin and we need good skin to show off in the summer, AmIright?:P
