A Hint Of The Sea

Hey you!

It’s been raining here since yesterday  and because of that I think that a tea with chamomile might be the perfect beverage to drink. This one is one of my own blends as well and it’s a combination of: chamomile, ginkgo biloba, stevia, nettle leaves, rose petals, sunflower petals and lemongrass. This will stimulate your memory and brain activity, reduces stress and anxieties, and strengthens your immune system. And the name I gave this blend is Brainiac.

Now when it comes to the song, I’m choice is going to be “A Hint Of The Sea” by Glories, an American post-rock, ambient, atmospheric band. This is an outstanding song, clear, full of sounds that create a wonderful memory. I especially like that the beginning of the song slowly starts to build up in a way that doesn’t feel rushed and it gives you time to assimilate all the good things about it. It’s the perfect combination for rainy weather.

Will You Ever Love Yourself

Hey you!

Today I thought I would lend a helping hand to those of you that have finals and exams; and I’ve create a tisane blend perfect for studying, relaxation and focusing. I’ve named it Easy Does It and it’s a simple but effective combination of: chamomile, nettle, sage and ginkgo biloba. It’s smooth, has a lovely smell and a unique taste.

As for she song, my go to genres for relaxing are classical and post-rock. And since I have the perfect post-rock track to go with the tea, “Will You Ever Love Yourself?” by Hammock is going to be my choice. It’s a slow and easy tune; it isn’t filled with exploding sounds so you won’t get worn out. Plus it has that certain something that makes me think of the end of an adventure and the beginning of another.

Too Much To Think

Hey guys!

So 311 are dropping a new album this summer and a few days ago they released the album’s first single. It’s called “Too Much To Think” and it’s an uplifting track, one that will make you just move around with the beat. From the first seconds you can feel their old sound but somewhere along the line it transforms into something new.  This track it definitely worth a listen and let’s hope that the album will have some kind of a beautiful disaster  that will make us wanna listen to it some more.

Let’s see, for the tea I’m choosing something that will help sharpen your mind, de-stress your body and keep you alert without any jitters like the usual cup of coffee. This blend is called Jasmine & Juniper and its ingredients are: green tea, yerba maté, juniper berries, jasmine flowers, ginkgo biloba
leaf, ashwagndha root and almond extract for those of you that like that.

Howl’s Moving Castle

Hey, guys!

It’s exam season and I’m gonna try helping you out a bit. Here is a tea that is perfect for calming you down, boosting your brain power and helping your memory & concentration. And, of course, it’s good for your eye sight and in the face of an exam, you really need your good vision. I’m talking about Ginkgo Biloba. An interesting fact about ginkgo biloba is that it is considered to be the oldest living tree on Earth. In fact, studies have showed that this tree existed two hundred million years ago, and it originally came from China.

Now the perfect song for studying. Every time I needed to do it, this melody is always my first choice. It’s the theme song for the anime movie “Howl’s Moving Castel” (my favorite movie btw) and it’s written by Joe Hisaishi, a Japanese composer and musical director known for more than 100 movie scores. His music style has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, European classical, and Japanese classical. It’s just perfect, hope you enjoy it.
