Heavenward

Hey guys!

I woke up this morning with a craving for something refreshing and not to energetic, so a thought that a Butterscotch tea might be the perfect choice. It’s an amazing blend of: white tea, cinnamon, pink peppercorns & marigold flowers. Very delicate, a bit on the peppery side, not very sweet, just rich notes of butterscotch, just a guilt-free drink for those in need, like me :D. And after just one sip you will definitely want some more.

Now… for our second part, I’m going with an indie, alternative, rock band from the UK, called Wolf Alice and their new single “Heavenward”. This tune fits perfect in the shoegazeing genera is echoey, ghostly and gorgeous.  It’s a dreamy, melodic track, full of inharmonious, but pleasing guitars, which take you on a mysterious journey, especially with her divine voice.

The Last Of The Real Ones

Hey you!

Today I woke up in a great mood and with a craving for chai tea, one of my own blends of course. It’s simple, sweet and it will fill you with a lot of energy to get thru the day so you can start your weekend.  It contains: black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cacao powder, chocolate bits, pink peppercorns, orange peel and cloves. I call it Chai For You because this blend was made for someone special :D

And now the song … I just heard the new single from Fall Out Boy and I’ve got to say I really like it. I’m talking about “The Last Of The Real Ones” and it’s about loving someone because of all their imperfections and not in spite of them, and that to me is real love. It’s energetic, keeps your body moving, it has a great beat to it and the lyrics are extremely sweet.  I especially like this ones “You are the sun and I am just the planets/ Spinning around you” and “I will shield you from the waves/ If they find you/ I will protect you”. Aren’t they lovely? I think so, now….

Good Morning

Hey guys!

Let’s try something more upbeat today. Like “Good Morning” by Grouplove. It screams happiness and it has a catchy beat and melody. It seems to have the power to inspire positivity in whomever listens to it. “The night is young, the rest is up to you" feel like the perfect anthem for all those nights when you wanna do something new.

For us to be in a good mood all day let’s drink something with a lot of flavor and something that will delight our taste buds.  I’m thinking that Organic Chocolate Monkey Tisane Tea might do something about it. It’s a blend of rooibos, cacao nibs, apple bits, banana chips, pink peppercorn and chocolate. It’s a guilty free craving, with no calorie indulgence.

Something To Believe In

What’s up guys? I’ll tell you what. The sky :P (not the best joke, is it? But at least I’m having fun)

We’re going to dive right in. Today’s song is “Something To Believe In” by Young The Giant, an indie-rock, alternative-rock band from California. This track helped me get things done today, and I wanted to share it with you cause maybe, the drums, the guitar & bass riff, and not to mention the vocals, will motivate you too. “Realize you’re a slave to your mind, break free” it’s all I can hear now. 

Because this track is sending me all the right kinds of energy, I’m drinking a tea that will enhance that, a bend of black & green tea with grapefruit, pink peppercorns, carrot peel, orange peel, lemon grass and pomelo slices. A Hidden Treasure Green tea (its name), it’s full of flavors and the perfect morning brew, in my opinion. Enjoy!

The Kill

Today let’s dive right in. I’ve wanted to write about his song for a long time. I know it’s an old one, but I still love it. „The Kill” by 30 Seconds To Mars is a melodramatic tune that manages to wrap you up with all the tension in it. It’s a song that talks about your inter fight, about the relationship with yourself, confronting your fears and the truth about who you are. „Finally found myself/Fighting for a chance/I know now, this is who I really am.” Makes sense? I think it does.

And how about a tea that has more of a spicy taste? How about a Grapefruit/Pepper tea? That’s a blend of green and black tea, lemongrass, carrot & orange peels, pink peppercorns and pomelo slices. It can bear a punch this tea; it’s full of antioxidants and it will give you enough energy to get thru anything, even a fight with your demons.
