Still Into You

Hey, guys!

Cause after all this time I still love this song: „Still Into You” by Paramore. I’ve known it for a while but sometimes it just gets stuck in my head and stays with me all day, just like today :D It’s a catchy and fun track, and I can never get tired of Hayley’s voice. It has a pop-rock, new-wave-ish sound that seems to work for the band. The lyrics are quite bubbly „I should be over all the butterflies/ But I'm into you” and, of course, „Some things just, some things just make sense/ And one of those is you and I” sounds perfect.

Since “I’m still into you”, I’m pretty sure that I’m addicted to your kisses as well, and for that I will give you a Chocolate Kiss tea. It’s a combination of rooibos, pieces of chocolate & pomegranate buds. This tea has a sweet taste and an energizing effect and of course, it will make you feel great on an ordinary day, when you feel like doing nothing. But my guess, doing nothing won’t be a problem because this song-tea combination will definitely make you want to do something. Anything!

The Kill

Today let’s dive right in. I’ve wanted to write about his song for a long time. I know it’s an old one, but I still love it. „The Kill” by 30 Seconds To Mars is a melodramatic tune that manages to wrap you up with all the tension in it. It’s a song that talks about your inter fight, about the relationship with yourself, confronting your fears and the truth about who you are. „Finally found myself/Fighting for a chance/I know now, this is who I really am.” Makes sense? I think it does.

And how about a tea that has more of a spicy taste? How about a Grapefruit/Pepper tea? That’s a blend of green and black tea, lemongrass, carrot & orange peels, pink peppercorns and pomelo slices. It can bear a punch this tea; it’s full of antioxidants and it will give you enough energy to get thru anything, even a fight with your demons.

Crystaline

Guys, today comes another post-rock song that I always listen to: „Crystaline”by Pg.lost, a band from Sweden. This song calms me down and gives me time to think about almost anything, not something sad, nor all my worries, but just think (we all do that sometimes, don’t we?). In the 5th minute, when everything starts to take another turn, this song becomes even better. It gets slower and more powerful, and this change seems so well-timed. It’s just mesmerizing, so enjoy it!

Sweet Serenita tea– does that sound like the perfect combination for the song? I think so too. It’s a mix of black tea with caramel bits and lavender, so it either calms you down or gives you the boost in energy you need, depending in what mood you are in. Either way, this is perfection.

Renaissance Affair

Hey, guys!

Here is a song that I just adore and I’ve loved it ever since I first heard it: „Renaissance Affair” by Hooverphonic. This track is one of the best that I know from this band, but I enjoy more the version with the orchestra because of the string and the horns! The lyrics are brilliant. To me it speaks about a kind of love you can’t manage too well „About these feelings we can't control”and the lust that it creates „I miss you all the time I must face/ I miss your touch and your embrace”. That designs the perfect ending for me.

To make the perfect combination with this song, I’m going to choose a tea that is soothing and calming but also it has some caffeine so it won’t make you sleepy. Lavender Dream, a blend of white tea, lavender of course, grapes, apple, papaya, peach, citrus peels, carrot pieces, lemon verbena, rosebuds, passion flower herb and marigold petals. Perfect as an afternoon tea, plus it will help your immune system, skin health, anxious problems and it has the greatest taste. Yummy!

Happy

Today is one of those days when I’m happy for no reason and I’m giving in into this mood. So I’m going to drink a tea that brings me more happiness thanks to the memories of the first time that I drank this tea, in one of my favorite places in the world, with one of my favorite people in my life.

Volcano, that is what it’s called, a blend of black tea (Ceylon), apple, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, orange, red pepper and natural oils. This tastes soo good that I can’t even describe it. It’s a piece of heaven, at least for me. It will energize you almost immediately, so it’s the most logical choice in some mornings or afternoons.

Now I’m picking a song that makes me wanna dance from the start to its finish. „Happy”by C2C, also known as Coups2Cross, feat Derek Martin. That’s a French „band” composed of 4 DJs. This track puts you in motion and it gives you a good feeling all thru the day. The lyrics aren’t complicated, they just say „You’ll never feel happy until you try”, and that folks, is the secret of life. Give it a try I’m sure you’ll going to love it.

Unspeakable

Hey, guys!

Remember the Swedish pop group Ace Of Bass? The last 2 weeks I’ve been listening to them more than the usual and I thought that makes perfect sense to write about a song of theirs. How about „Unspeakable”? It's not one of the band’s most known track, but I actually love this one. The sound is bubbly and the lyrics are catchy: „All I wanna say to you is na na na na Unspeakable”. Let’s say that 2002 wasn’t their best year.

The tea should be something that you will remember, at least from time to time, like I do with this band and song. That means I’m going to choose ... Wild Orange Blossom Herbal Tea, a blend of apple pieces, hibiscus, rose hip peels, beetroot pieces, apple slices, citrus slices, citrus peels, orange juice pieces, orange petals and rose petals. This will give you a bit of energy and also it’ll help with some other problems. It can improve your skin health, your immune system, your heart and blood pressure. Symphony No. 5 in B flat – Allegro

Today I need your help with something. I need your help in wishing happy birthday to one of my favorite persons in the world. A person I just adore and love with all my heart, my sister. Today is her special day, so this will be a longer post than the usual, but please, bear with me!

Dear sister, I hope you have one of the most amazing days and I hope this is going to be the year for you (I’m still going to wish you this every year no matter how big and famous you get). You know how much I love you, even thou I don’t always say it. You are one of the most brilliant, mesmerizing and perfect people I know, and I’m not just saying that, I actually believe it. I know you can do anything and that you will have everything you wish in this world, and if I can, I will help you with that. I love you!

Since it’s her birthday, she gets her favorites, and I’m even going to quote her here and there :P Her pick is „Symphony No. 5 in B flat – Allegro” by W.A. Mozart. This symphony has a happy mood and a light breeze that will give you goose bumps and make everything perfect just by a listen. Even thou it’s not summer yet, this is the perfect start for a summer day. This is a melody that makes me smile and like she said, it’s pure love. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does because I know what this song means to her, and the fact that she lets me share this feeling with you, it makes it even better.

Peppermint tea has been her favorite since we were kids and that hasn't change after all these years. Peppermint tea is a delicious and a refreshing way to raise your energy levels and to boost your health in a few ways: it reduces pain, eliminates inflammation, relaxes the body and the mind, aids in weight loss and boosts the immune system. I used to hate it when we were little, but now I seem to be drinking it almost every day, in combination with other teas, plants or fruits, but nonetheless almost daily. Enjoy, because They’re both (the song and tea) like a breath of fresh air, soooo refreshing!!!

Polaris

Hello!

This week is been quite a good one for me and because of that, I’m choosing one of my favorite post-rock songs: „Polaris” by Exxasens. I’ve loved this track for so long, I can’t even remember a time when I didn’t know it. It has a space-ish kinda sound, with a lot of emotions running thru it. The half of the first minute does it for me.

For the tea I’m going to choose something that boosts your energy, but also keeps you grounded, a Snow Geisha White Tea. It’s a blend of white tea, cherries, cranberries, rosebuds & rose petals. It's a light and refreshing cherry infusion that will take you on a journey to everywhere. Plus, it will help you with your skin health, it will boost your immune system and, like I’ve said before, this will definitely give you a boost thanks to all the caffeine it contains.

Faded

Here’s another song I started liking because of the piano :D It’s just in the beginning but it counts. I’m talking about „Faded”,an electric ballad by Alan Walker. Iselin Solheim’s sweet and mellow voicepairs up perfectly with the piano in the beginning and the rest of the beats. Plus, the lyrics „Were you only imaginary?” is an interesting way to make sense of everything when you don’t understand what is going to happen. And „You were the shadow to my light” is just another way to say that „you are (you were for this purpose) my everything”.

For the tea, I’m choosing something relaxing and calming, just like the song, something like the Serenity Wellness Tea. It’s a blend of chamomile, blackberry, lemongrass, apple, hibiscus, spearmint, lemon balm, lavender, marigold flowers, rose-hip peels, beetroot pieces (for color), orange & rose petals. This tea will create a ritual for every time you want to relax and take things easy.

Calling You

Hey, guys!

Today I was going thru my playlist and I found this and it made me smile. „Calling You” by Blue October it’s an old but a good one. The first 3 lines just get me hooked. The lyrics are so sweet and cute, they just make you feel fluffy and full of good vibes. Definitely a good love song because „I feel like I can fly when I stand next to you” and, of course, „If you're sleeping, are you dreaming / If you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me”. And this is what I’ll say to that: „yes, plus I’m always waking up with you running thru my mind”.

Since this track is an energizing one, I’m going to choose a black tea. Naughtea & Spice (naughty + tea), a blend of China black tea with chocolate, cinnamon, red cinnamon candy and perfection.  The name is quite good and the mix of ingredients will definitely make you feel great. Hope you’ll like it, I know I’m always enjoying it.
