Dream State

Hey guys!

Today my going to share with you a track that might take you on a ride with a everything it’s going on with its sound. It’s from the electronic, experimental, trip-hop band Son Lux and it’s called “Dream Stare”. It’s filed with layers of synths, woodwinds, walking a fine line of never sounding too electronic or computerized but also it seems like Son Lux deconstructs music itself and patch it back together in their image. Plus this song explores growing up, precisely the understanding of mortality, brilliantly showing the relaxed state of youth.

And for the tea, I’m choosing a green one. Something that will invigorate you, give you a little energy and help your immune system.  It’s called Aloe Vera & Coconut and it’s a wonderful blend made with: green tea, spirulina, vitamin complex with Aloe Vera, coconut, mallow flowers.  It has a wonderful taste, refreshing and light perfect for almost any hour of the day.

Million Bucks

Hey guys!

So this weekend I had a lot of fun with new friends and different surrounding and because of that I found the perfect song to share with you. It’s from the indie pop, alternative band Smallpools and the track is called “Million Bucks” and it’s about finding your comfort zone in a strange place, being the new person in a group and feeling happy about it. Is the best way to describe my weekend. Plus the song has that summer vibe that I just can’t get enough of.

As for the song, I’m going to choose a fruity one, full of aromas and perfect for the hot weather with just a little ice. I call it the Black Plum and it’s a sweet combination of: black tea, blackberry, strawberry & raspberry leaves, lemongrass, calamus root& mallow blossoms. It a relaxing, stimulating beverage that you can enjoy it at almost any hour of the day :D

Wild Love

Hey you!

Today I was browsing thru YouTube and I came across this collaboration between Kendall Jenner & Elle King for Estee Lauder’s New Pure Color Love Lipstick ad. This video has a great concept and it made me love this song immediately. It’s catchy and fun with easy lyrics and Elle’s raspy vocals just make the song better. The song is called “Wild Love” and I’ve got to say: it made my day. Plus in the ad Elle says to Kendall “you’ve got enough going on”; that just really made me laugh.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a white one cause for the last couple of days that’s what I seem to be drinking. This one is called the Raspberry/Gojiberry/Bergamot tea and it’s an infusion of: white tea, goji berries, currants, Curaçao orange peel, blackberry leaves, rose petals, acacia, pomegranate and mallow flowers, raspberry pieces. It’s sweet, fruity and all together a great beverage at any time of the day.

Lost On You

Hey, guys!

Today I found this next song. It’s called “Lost On You” and it’s by LP. It’s been on replay from the first play because I think the track in amazing and the artist’s voice just magical – a bit husky – and makes the melody even better. The lyrics a just the right amount of sad, but perfect nonetheless: “Tell me that you love me more than hate me all the time/ Are you still mine”. That seems to be the one that does it for me, maybe because we all, even myself, feel that way sometimes

Since I imagine listening to this song over a glass of wine with a certain someone, and since I’m alone at this moment and not in the mood for wine, I’m going to choose a tea that will deliver me a hint of that moment: a White Grape White Tea. That’s a blend of white tea, rose-hip, black currants, mallow blossoms, cornflower blossoms & the fresh juice of some white grapes. It’s definitely an afternoon tea and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

HandClap

Today I wanted another kind of tea to wake me up in the morning besides the black tea, something that would taste like happiness and I think I found it. It’s called Happy Jumble, a blend of currant fruits, mint, rose-hip, carrot flakes, lemon balm, sage, mallow, sunflower petals, mate& claw immortelles. This tea will give you energy, help you with your skin health and heart, will boost your brain power and will reduce anxiety. It’s been a great idea for this morning (and for any other morning for that matter).

I’m going to pair this tea with a melody that will make you happily want to move, something in the line of „HandClap”by Fitz And The Tantrums (an indie, funk, pop group from L.A.) This song made me actually clap my hands and put me in a very good mood. It’s a track about love and desire that you can find sang in lyrics like „You're like a drug to me, a luxury, my sugar and gold”.Isn’t that a very nice way to tell someone that you want them, need them, crave them?It’s even nicer if you’re the one they want, need or crave, amIright? Iu-hu! Happy, happy, joy, joy!
