Remember Goo Goo Dolls? They have a new
single out, it’s called “Use Me” and it’s a pretty great track. I’ve been
listening to it all morning and I quite enjoy it. This is a slow track filled
with good lyrics that talk about a love that isn’t quite right, but they enjoy
it nonetheless. I especially like the drums kicking at the chorus; it seems to
bring the song together.
As for the tea, I’m choosing a rooibos one
called Relax. It’s a blend that you can enjoy at any hours of the day, one that
will give a state of calm and let’s not forget that it can also have a lot of
benefits for your body too. Plus it’s not just rooibos it also contains: blackberries
leaves, pieces of orange & lemon, corn cockle flowers and sunflower petals.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m going to start with the tea cause
I found something new that has a sweet aroma of passion fruit mixed with the
refreshing taste of green tea. The tea is called Panakeia Oolong and it’s a
combination of: green tea, oolong tea, ginseng and passion fruit. It’s a pure
tea, one that will give you some energy to keep up with the day and at the same
time fill you with a warm embrace.
Now for the song I’m choosing a pop, electronic,
indie band called Transviolet based in LA, and their track “Bloodstream”. It’s a seductive and
hunting track filled with bursts of synth, virtuous harmonies and tempting
female vocals. And the song is about being in love and knowing that that
someone could completely destroy you. It’s about that reckless vulnerability
you feel when you are in love. I especially like that pause after the lyric “You
look my way and I lose my” is sang.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today’s choice was a little hard for me… I
found a band that I haven’t listened to it before and I really love 2 of their
song. The band is called Missio, form Austin, Texas and they are an electronic,
alternative, space rock duo. The tracks that I love are called “Everybody Gets
High” and “Bottom Of The Deep Blue Sea” so if you get a chance listen to them
both. But I think for today's entries I’m going to go with “Everybody Gets High”
cause it’s more energetic and it's hypnotizing, something about it just gets me
hooked in this infections track. To tell you the truth it got me with the first
lyric “Once upon a time in a land far away” it felt like something that would
get you a mystical high.
As for the tea, I’m choosing a herbal tea
called Feng Shui (Strawberry/Bergamot), this it’s a blend created to help you
with the synchronization among humans and their surroundings. In order to
create this Chi (positive, free flowing energy) they used a mixture of: apple
pieces, goji berries, dragonfruit, lemongrass, blackberry leaves, nettle
leaves, orange peel, eucalyptus leaves, carrot flakes, bergamot, cornflowers
and marigold. You just have to add the fifth element, the water, and let the energy’s
flow thru you.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
And for those of you that wanna listen to “Bottom
Of The Deep Blue Sea”, here is a the link.
Today we are going to listen to a song from
a Belgium artist Konoba. It’s an alternative pop, electronic track featuring Ellie
Ford called “I’m A Wolf”. It feels like a melancholic tune that just makes you
feel all kinds of emotions and you just can’t move on … like for me it’s been
on repeat for a few hours now :D. Plus it has some clever lyrics. “I’m a wolf,
you're the moon/ Can you hear me sing to you” this one is my favorite.
And now for the tea, I’m choosing one
mostly because of its name. It’s called Violette in Love and it’s a sweet and
full of flavor beverage with lots of benefits and one that you can enjoy at any
hours of the day. The blend is a combination of these ingredients: rooibos,
candied violet, raspberry pieces, poppy petals.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I know
that for some of you is time to study, I have a friend that finds herself in
the same predicament, and I thought I might try to help somehow. So today we
are drinking a tea that helps you focus and it gives you energy, it help you
charge your mind and body. I’m naming it No Jitters Energy Tea, because after
you drink this tea you won’t have does crashes associated with caffeine. This blend
contains: black tea, Yerbe Mate, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cacao nibs, cocoa
powder, honey bush, chili flakes and safflower.
As for the song I’m choosing something slow
and relaxing so you can concentrate more on other matter. The track is called “Expressions”
and it’s by Helen Jane Long a British composer, musician and pianist. It’s a
simple and almost repetitive sound but it somehow manages to capture a lot of
emotions, feelings and moods into this melody and gives you a sense of comfort
and that makes it a great song. Hope you can appreciate as it is or the very
least as a relaxing background music.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine
Today we have another rock, electronic even
a little pop song on our entries form the Connecticut band Forget Tomorrow. The
track is called “Say No More” and it’s a great way to show how different genres
work and how you can blend them together. You can hear real sound through this
melody, clean vocal, those piano keys playing, guitar riff and most especially (for
me) the drums kicking; all together make a great song that almost everybody can
appreciate.
As for the tea, my choice is going to be Flavored
Raspberry Tart. It’s a green tea with pineapple
pieces, apple cubes,
raspberries, flowers of immortelles. It’s a fresh with a sweet aroma of a tart,
a fantastic smell and just enough raspberries to taste good but not so much to
overwhelm the green tea. And since summer is just around the corner you can add some ice and turn it into a perfect beverage for the hot weather.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine
I found this song a few days ago and since
then it’s been on repeat so I thought it’s time to share it with you. It’s an
indie rock, kind of an indie pop track called “Just Touch” from the band The
Hubbards. It’s something about this song that just makes me hit repeat, maybe it’s
the drums kicking of that guitar riff or maybe those parts when the lead singer
sings “I don't like your boyfriend/ girlfriend” it puts a smile on my face :D. Or
maybe it all of those things together that make such a enjoyable song.
Now for the tea, I’m choosing something
that will energize you and it will have a lot of benefits for your health,
starting with you immunity and going all the way to you skin. It’s called Turmeric
Gold and it’s a blend that contains: turmeric roots, pieces of ginger, cocoa
shells, anise, fennel, blackberry leaves. And for those of you that like
vanilla you can add some pieces and turn it into a more delicate beverage.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today we are drinking a black tea, one that
will energize us and really help us enjoy life. It’s called Truffe and Ginger
and it’s a fragrant combination of: black tea, pieces of ginger, cocoa shells,
almonds, pink pepper. Its a little spice and also creamy, and for me is a new
kind of obsession; easy to enjoy and with lots of benefits for our health.
As for the song, it’s a mash up made by a guy
named Logan. He combined “Stressed Out”, “Migraine” and “The Judge” from Twenty
One Pilots and “All We Know” from The Chainsmokers ft. Phoebe Ryan and I have to
say he made a great track and it’s called “All We Stress”. There is just something that I really enjoy in
this combination and I had to share it with you. All the songs are really great
on their own and putting them all together created something wonderful.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today is a special day and you have to help
me wish a very important person, my sister, Happy Birthday. And like always the
choice in music and tea comes from the birthday girl and this year she actually
did a little of my job and wrote a little something. Here it goes:
<“Lust for Life” Lana del Ray (of
course) ft. The Weekend. Red Chocolate tea. Should I justify my choices? Well…
Lana de Rey is one of my favorite artists and chocolate is one of my favorite
foods hihi. And I’m pretty sure there isn’t a better match in the whole
Universe: lust and chocolate, or better said lust for chocolate. Both are
sensual, smooth and make me think of a breezy summer night, on top of a high
building, watching the city lights. You can add some silk in the picture and
there you have it: a perfect moment.>
She’s a good writer I know and know there’s
not much else left for me to say. “Lust for Life” it’s a great song; I even
like it because of her. Plus I’ve already talked about it in a different post. As
for the tea, is a special blend made just for her, and it was a Christmas present.
The Red Chocolate tea contains a mix of: rooibos, dark chocolate, peppermint,
fennel, cardamom and cacao. I’m glad she likes it so much that she shares it
with the world.
Happy
Birthday my amazing, wonderful, awesome, great sister, you deserve the best and
I hope you have it.
Kisses and Go drink (and wish my sister a Happy
Birthday), I’m already drinking mine.
Today we have a track that celebrates
individuality of everybody in this world. It’s an empowering song that speaks
of acceptance and spreading the love and it come in the form of Hurts new single
“Beautiful Ones”. The lyrics seem to give hope to anyone how doesn’t fit in the
social norm with lines like “don’t be afraid, honey one day, this will fade”. Plus
the video is a colorful celebration of gender fluidity and the harsh rode of
hate and brutality that sometimes go hand in hand.
For the tea I’m choosing something that you
can enjoy at any hour of the day and it can relax you and just make you feel
better. It’s called Bird of Paradise and it’s a blend that contains: green tea,
papaya flakes, orange slices, white tea & rose petals. Simple, fruity, full
of aromas and with lots of benefits.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m going to share my new guilty pleasure.
It’s an EHM track (electronic hardcore music) from the band I See Stars and it’s
called “Calm Snow”. It has a little pop vibe to it, tough vocals and synth-driven
verses that seem to play well with the catchy chorus. I was hoping for a little
more guitar riffs and heavier drum kicks but either way I like this song. Mostly
because it seems this track has a lot of other influences all around it and
that makes it worthwhile.
As for the tea I’m choosing a rooibos tea,
mostly because I’ve already drunk my morning tea. Plus this is a wonderful
beverage full of aromas and it has a divine taste. It’s called Zero Toxi and it’s
a combination of: rooibos, green rooibos, red vine leaves, pieces of apricot,
lemon peel and cornflowers. I’m not usually a fan of apricot but in small doses
and just for the aroma how can I not like it.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today seems like it’s going to be great day
and because of that I’m drinking a green tea. It’s a simple one with just
cornflowers added to the mix of green tea and i's called Green Leaves Blue Sky. It’s a fresh and relaxing beverage,
full of antioxidants and vitamins with a wonderful aroma of cornflowers. To give
it a little punch you can add some cinnamon and have a new kind of experience.
And now for the song… today I found the new
single from the indie, alternative, rock Canadian group Broken Social Scene. The
track I called “Hug Of Thunder” and it’s an easy to listen melody, with a slow
tempo that builds up and gives you a little “thunder”. Feist takes over
the vocals and delivers a heartwarming performance that for me is going to be
easy to remember.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I woke up this morning in the best way
possible but since then all I wanna do is sleep. And because of that today’s
song in going to be something slow, easy to listen and for those of you still
in school or college it’s going to be a track that you can study to. It’s
called “Hidden Beneath” and it’s by Message To Bears, an post-rock, ambient band
from the UK. No matter the mood you find yourself in this song can either
elevate you or just relax you even more. Just with a few cords that seem to be
on a repeating loop and even less drum kicks you can imagine yourself standing
in a field of grass just looking at the sky.
As for the tea, I think that a red one
might be the perfect pair of this comforting melody. My choice is going to be
the Lemon Biscottea, a refreshing tea with a divine taste of fresh spring flowers
and lemon. This is a wonderful blend of: rooibos, honey bush, lemon peel, lemon
balm, lemongrass, jasmine flower, agrimony herb, marshmallow root and just a
little more lemon. It’s a perfect beverage hot as well as cold for those warm
days that are to come.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking
mine.
Today I feel the need for something more energizing
to put my bones in motion. So I think that a black tea with some chocolate
might do the trick. I found the perfect blend for me to enjoy, it’s called
Chocolate Peppermint and it’s a simple mix of: black tea, chocolate bits and
mint. And to tell you the truth chocolate with mint it’s one of my favorite
kinds of chocolate, so in this department I’m good.
As for the song, I’m choosing “High Without
Your Love” by the New York-based pop duo Loote. This is their first track and
it’s easy to listen, has a pop rhythm and cute lyrics and feels like a summer
anthem. Plus lyrics like “I can't get high without your love/ All of these
drugs, they ain't enough/ They don't do what your body does” make this song
easy to remember and bring just enough cheesiness to the table.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today we are starting directly with a surf
rock track so we can feel the summer that is supposed to come in less than a
month. The song is called “You Know It” by the indie rock band from Nashville Colony
House. It’s full of guitar riffs and drums kicking in the best way possible. And
it’s almost unmanageable not the get this melody stuck in your head, it even
has a “La la la la la” part that will make it even easier to remember.
And for the tea, I’m choosing something
that might not give you a lot of energy but instead it will keep you and a Zen
mood so you can go with the flow. This tea is a special blend that contains: chamomile,
rose-hip, hibiscus, rooibos, blueberries, black currant and cranberries. The name
of the tea is Berry Essence and it’s a sweet and full of flavor that seem to be
enriched by the chamomile undertones.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m drinking a white tea that it’s
best with ice and in warm weather. It’s called White Raspberry Ice and it’s a
combination of: white tea, raspberry, cloves and cinnamon. It’s a delicious beverage,
low on caffeine and full of antioxidants and fragrances that will surprise you.
It’s sweet, spice and you can never go wrong by drinking it, hot or on ice.
As for the song I’m listening to Mr. Doctor
Man by the Canadian alternative rock band Palaye Royale. It’s a catchy song and
it’s all you could need from a rock song. The drum kicks, guitar riffs, bass
solos, it's just incredible. Plus the raspy vocals of the lead singer make this
song easy to remember. I was pleasantly surprised by this band’s sound and the energizing
feeling that just wrap me up every time I listen to the song.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
It’s that time again; you have to help me
wish a good friend of mine Happy Birthday. It’s like always, the choice in music
and tea comes from the one that is celebrating the birthday. I’ve known the
birthday boy for a few years now (not many but just enough to consider him a
good friend) and I’ve got to say there aren’t so many people that make me feel comfortable
and relaxed like I do in his company. It’s good to have a pal that you can joke
around and still have a serious conversation and you my friend are one of them.
And now, the song …to tell you the truth usually
when it comes to music we are pretty different, but his choice is actually a track
that I like and it's one I've written about before, so this is going to be easy. In this marvelous day we are going to
listen to “Saturnz Barz” by Gorillaz featuring Popcaan. This is an infectious track
that seems to infuse some trap style base with a reggae influences and of course
Gorillaz old sound. The melody gives me a feeling of being trapped in a bizarre
and psychological “experiment” and maybe that’s what makes this experience of a
song so great. Plus the minute Damon starts singing really keeps me hooked in.
For the tea it’s going to be a rooibos tea
cause that’s his favorite, with some alcohol (vodka of course). And we came up
with the perfect blend and name so it could be something he really would enjoy.
The name of our tea is Spice Spirit and it’s a combination of: rooibos,
cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, fennel ... and our much beloved vodka. Plus if you cool
it down and add some cranberry juice, a little more vodka and garnish it with some thin slices of lemon, you can turn into
a great cocktail.
Kisses and Go dink you tea (and help me
with the wishes for the birthday boy), I’m already drinking mine.
Happy Birthday my good friend, have an
awesome day!
Today I’m drinking some black tea, I felt
the need since I woke up :D. This one is a very simple blend made just with
black tea and rose petals. It has a floral aroma and it makes me a little more
relaxed, not just energized from the black tea. It’s called Rose Congou, what
name could fit better for this delicately scented black tea.
As for the song my choice is “Colours” from
the UK indie rock pop band Luna Bay. Not many people might have heard of them
but their sound and especially this song is quite infectious. It’s a great
melody with lots of hooks and guitar riffs that make this track easy to listen
and it might fill you up with a sense of calm and wonder, at least that’s want
it does to me.
Kisses and Go dink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Right now I’m listening to a cover of
classic love song. I’m talking by “Never My Love” a hit from the ‘60 from the
band The Association, which is a sweet love song that pledges infinite commitment
and it even makes you believe that such a thing exists. The cover is done be
the indie, pop-rock band Knox Hamilton and it’s a fresh, cute and no too sugary
:D.
As for the tea, I’m going to choose just
for us a blend made with: rooibos, chamomile, carob, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom
and orange peel. It’s called the Classic Chai and it has one of the most
perfect combinations of ingredients. It’s a relaxing and full of flavor beverage
that you can enjoy at any given hour.
Kisses and go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today we are going to listen to the new
single form the UK band Nothing But Thieves. It’s called “Amsterdam” and it has
that certain something that made me like it in an instant. It’s catchy, feels a
little different from their previous work but it absolutely perfect. You can actually feel the passion throughout
the song, and this band manage to do something beautiful and energetic,
something that after you enjoy it you can’t seem to let it go. You’ll find
yourself listening to the song “Over, over, over/ Again and again”.
For the tea, I’m choosing something that
contains black tea so we can keep up with the energy of the song. So, the tea
is called Lemon Essence with Peel and it’s a great blend made of green rooibos, black
tea, lemon peel & lemon myrtle. It’s a tea you can enjoy with just a good
song and a great attitude. It will help you keep up with the work load if the day.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m thinking of drinking a maté tea,
one with chocolate so I get the energy to survive the day. It’s called Maté
Chocolate and it contains: maté roasted rooibos, cocoa pieces, chocolate bits,
barley malt, coconut rasps, cinnamon, cloves and cornflower blossoms. It’s
sweet and fruity, with an easy to remember flavor.
As for the song I just found the song “Jamie”
from the indie rock band Nightair. It’s a fun song that will make you wanna
move a little. It seems to be about a girl named Jamie, her ex-boyfriend is the
narrator and he is trying to explain to her new boyfriend that Jamie only likes
him for what he is, “A shiny new toy to be used” J. It’s
a cute song that might make you smile once you hear it.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
dinking mine.
So Lady Gaga has a new single out and I’ve
got to say I love it. The track is called “The Cure” and it’s a more EDM and sound a lot more like
the other pop song that are filling the music charts. That isn’t necessarily
bad, that just means she is a really good artist and she can do anything
:D. Plus this song is about the
unconditional love you can have for someone and the lyrics are quite great; “I’ll
fix you with my love” is forever stuck in my head.
And for the tea, it’s going to be really
simple. I’m choosing the Red, Green & White tea cause I can choose between the
white tea, green tea and rooibos so I’m choosing a blend made just with just
them. It combines the colorful taste of the rooibos tea with the fresh flavor of
green tea and the smooth charm of white tea. It’s simple and the taste is marvelous.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Well at least for some of you that celebrated
it today.
Today’s track is coming from Foster The
People and it’s their new single “S.H.C.” short for Sacred Hearts Club. It’s a
track fit for the summer that is coming, it’s warm and it has a bubbly electronic
touch to its sound. The song has easy and somehow the perfect lyrics that carry
you smoothly into the choruses and bridges. Some of them will really stick
inside your brain and they might even give you a feeling of joy in life.
As for the tea, I’m thinking that a will relax
you and even give you a lot of benefits for your hair, skin, and even your
nails health, plus some anti-aging help if you need it. It’s a fruity, fresh blend
with a medium amount of caffeine that you can enjoy throughout the day. It’s
called the BeauTea Bomb and it’s a mix of: green tea, rooibos, yerba maté, hibiscus, lemon
peel, dandelion leaf, nettle leaf, peppermint, burdock root, marshmallow root
& raspberry.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
