Inspiration

Hey you!

So today I think I found just the right song for you and I hope you like it. It’s called “Inspiration” and it’s an EDM, dance track, almost future bass but not quite ;), by Unknown Brain featuring Aviella. The beats are pretty amazing and the drops seem to be just the right amount of low and heavy, it’s quite calming to me and they make me just wanna dream more. Aviella’s vocals are amazing as well, her voice sounding a little childish but it really works. Plus the lyrics are inspiring indeed, “Baby you can count on me now/ When you’re falling down” and „I’ll be your heart and temptation/ Cause I know that you’ll make it on your own” being my favorite.

And for the tea, I’ve created a new blend and I call it Hug In A Cup. All the ingredients in this tea are supposed to give you a calm and relaxed vibe; it’s something that will make you feel comfortable, give you a sense of happiness and wrap you up in a worm and sweet embrace. This tea is a combination of:  rooibos, chamomile, stevia leaf, rose petals, cornflower and just a pinch of lemongrass. It’s perfect for any time of day, especially when you want to unwind.

Revolution Radio

Hey guys!

Let’s have some fun today since the weekend is right on the corner and enjoy something that will give us energy. Something like Mount Everest Special tea, this is a perfect blend of: black tea, green tea, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries. It’s fruity, full of aromas, sweet and most especially it will give you the drive to finish the day and start you weekend in full of glory.

And now for the song, my choice is “Revolution Radio” by Green Day. It’s a very dynamic punk track that just makes you wanna jump and dance to it from the first few seconds. It’s full of guitar riffs and especially loud drum kicks, which I like, that makes this track feel like it’s one of their old song but with a little more maturity. And the video is full of nostalgia showing clips of their 26 years of working and making music and it’s shot in the same club where they first played.

Sight To The Blind

Hey guys!

Today we are going to listen to a new post-rock track that I’ve found. It’s called “Sight To The Blind” and it’s by the Canadian band Inward Oceans. This is a sweet and soft piano melody that gives you an sense of calm; it really relaxes me and makes me less anxious about life and all the problems in it. This tune is one of those ones that makes you appreciate the little things in the world and it’s easy to fall in love with it and you can listen to it for hours without getting bored.

As for the tea, I’m thinking that a white tea might be a nice paring for this perfect melody and I think I have the perfect one. I call it White Garden and the blend is a combination of this ingredients: peony flowers, rose petals, blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb and of course white tea. Smooth and relaxing with a full body aroma that is to die for, what else could you want in life!?!

Sweat / Close Your Eyes

Hey guys!

So today I’m going to talk about The All-American Rejects come back after a 5 year hiatus. They dropped 2 new singles a few weeks ago and since they made the release for them with just one video I am going to talk about them both. The first part is called “Sweat”, and I have to say it’s my favorite. It’s dynamic, energetic, with a lot of drum kicks and guitar riffs. Feels like a traditional track from this band, while “Close Your Eyes” is something different. It’s a ballade that has a gentile sound to it. It’s a representation of what’s to come, the change of their sound and releasing then at the same time really makes you notes the differences. Plus the video feels like a short movie that’s both powerful and stunning.

And now for the tea I’m trying to find something that might make sense for both this different melodies but I think I’ve got it. Something that has green tea might be perfect, it can give you energy and it can invigorate you.  The Green Cherry Love tea is perfect, it’s a combination of: green tea, cranberry, elderberry, hibiscus, pieces of cherry, raspberry, rosebuds and rose petals. Perfect if you just want some energy throughout the day but also if you wanna relax after a day of work.

Love Me For Life

It’s a good day, isn’t it? Well it is for me, so to keep me it that mood and enjoy the day even more I’m drinking a Lavender Latte Chai, I’m pretty sure this will be to your liking and you’ll fall in love with it immediately, at least that’s what I hope it will happen . This is a beautiful combination of: black tea, lavender, ginger pieces, cinnamon sticks, cloves, peppercorns, cardamom. You can make it with milk or the usual way with just water but if you can add a little maple syrup and you will see that the taste and aroma will take you on a lovely journey.

As for the song, right now I’m listening to “Love Me For Life” by Feenixpawl, an electronic, dance, EDM Australian duo known for their high energy experience. Of me this track was an instant love, from the start to it’s end; it has a summer-ish vibe, sweet lyrics and that kind of beat that doesn’t hype you up just gives you enough energy to take the world head on.  It feels a bit like a future base tune with splendid vocals and a lot of creativity. Even thou the chorus gets easily stuck in my head, my favorite part is “You must be out of your mind/ To say that you love me for life”.

Clair de Lune

Hey you!

Today we are talking about having an easy and well deserved sleep, effortless and empowering. I found a new liking in bacopa having lots of benefit for your body, with memory and anxieties and especially with insomnia. The tea that I’m talking about is one of my own blends, I’ve named it Nighty Night and it contains: bacopa(well of course), nettle leaves, chamomile, aniseed, lemongrass and some lavender, but just a bit. It’s fragrant and calming and it will help you sleep like a baby.

Now for the song it’s a sweet and amazing masterpiece of a piano suite. I’m talking about Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune”, one of the most adored melodies that I hold dear to my heart. This is a piano depiction of a Paul Verlaine poem. It’s played pianissimo and that creates a melancholic sadness, something that you could feel in the early hours of the morning, when the sun isn’t up and the world feels still. Sweet Lies

Hey guys!

Today I was feeling pretty energetic and I thought that some drum & bass might do me good. And because of that I started listening to Wilkinson’s track “Sweet Lies” featuring Karen Harding. The vocals are clear and powerful, Karen’s range is incredible and you can get lost in it. The beats are a bit predictable but it’s still a good song to enjoy and dance to. My favorite lyrics are: “ Fearless/ Though we live in secret/ I only live for your touch/ Enough love for the both of us live for your touch” .

Now for the tea, my choice is going to be something that has red tea in it. Something like Tulsi Rooibos Chai, this will give you energy and no jitters form the caffeine cause it has none. It’s a wonderful blend of rooibos, tulsi, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. It’s aromatic, spice and it creates a full body beverage with a high mineral and antioxidants properties. Now…

Pay No Mind

‘ello guys!

Today I woke up in a good mood and started listening to “Pay No Mind” by the French electronic producer Madeon featuring Passion Pit the indietornica band from Massachusetts. This is a very funky track that just puts your body in motion and gives you good energy and an exceptional good groove. It’s got and infectious beat that will draw you in and you’ll easily find yourself singing and dancing to the song. The ending is a little cheesy but it’s still done to perfection.  

And for the tea, this is one of my own blends; I call it My Sweet Chocolate. It’s a combination of: black tea, rooibos, a lot if chocolate bits, cocoa powder, ginger and cinnamon powder and it I’m in the mood for an iced tea like this morning, I’ll add a little sugar or honey and some ice and turn it into a must for hot summer days. This will most definitely give you a boost in energy :D

Outside

Hey!

So today I am listening to “Outside” by Tender, an indie, electronic duo from London. This track has a dark, R&B, electronic infuse groove that wraps you up into its mid-tempo, deep bass lines full of harmonies and haunting sounds. The lyrics are full of vulnerability, and that alluring rawness that hide an overwhelming emotion within those sweet sounds.

As for the tea my choice is going to be the Peppermint/Lemon tisane. It has a blend of: peppermint, lemongrass, carrot flakes, licorice root, orange peel, rose-hip and lemon. It’s full of aromas, it’s sweet but also refreshing and it’s also a good help when you feel a little down of you lost all your energy. Let's not forget, you can easily turn this tea into the perfect summer beverage just by adding a little ice and maybe a little sugar or honey.

Water

Hey guys!

I woke up this morning with no energy to get out of my bed and I thought that trying something new might help me out. So the new blend is a herbal one and it’s a mixture of: hibiscus, orange peel, lavender, lemon balm, cloves, licorice root and stevia leaf. It’s called Sweet Nectar and it’s a guilt free beverage for those of us that have a sweet tooth :D. Plus this tisane feels like a warm hug with every sip and it could even replenish your energy.

And for the song, my choice is “Water” by Jack Garratt, an indie, electronic artist from the UK. This track is a slow one, full of electric and acoustic sounds that give a good vibe to it. And one in a while you here that piano playing and it makes everything even better, at least for me. The lyrics are simple and easy to remember and it might even give you a sense of nostalgia. Transformation

Hey guys!

Today I’ve started my day by listening to a few tracks from The Cinematic Orchestra, a jazz, chillout group from the UK. This band is amazing and I had to share with you if you didn’t know about it. And the song I’m choosing is going to be “Transformation”, it’s usually attached to “Arrival Of The Birds” but I think that to actually feel the intensity of every single sound you need to listen to each and every song on its own. This track touches my soul and gives me a state of calm but also energizes me and makes me wanna do more.  

As for the tea my choice is Russische Karawane, a black tea made by a Russian recipe. I bought this tea a few days ago and today was the first time I’ve tried it and it gave me exactly what I needed. It’s similar to Russian Caravane tea, it even has the same name but it’s a bit different cause it’s from another supplier. It’s a mixture of Ceylon tea that has a smoke aroma, a darker color and it energizes you to the fullest. Add a little milk, even some chocolate and this tea might help you have some day dreams.

Saw You In A Dream

Hey guys!

Today we are slowing things down and we are enjoying life as it is. And for that I have the perfect tea to share with you, it’s a black tea and green tea with jasmine, rose petals, cornflowers and sunflower petals. This is a fresh and full body tea, bursting with fragrances and just the right amount of caffeine to help you make your day great. I've named this tea The Flower Power :D

As for the song my choice is “Saw You In A Dream” by The Japanese House an indie, electronic, experimental and ambient artist from London. This is a sweet and mellow song that just seems to calm me down, relax and feel the world around me. Written about the death of an old childhood friend the tune has a melancholic and hazy instrumental line perfectly a lined with the light and smooth voice of Amber Bain. And even if you don’t know the true meaning of the song it’s still makes sense as a love song, a heart-break song.

Go To War

Hey guys!

Today I am listening to Nothing More’s new single “Go To War”, I’ve heard this song a few weeks when it came out but today feels like the perfect choice. I needed something more energetic to put me on my feet and this was it. It’s a powerful rock track that showcases the lead singer’s vocal range and it’s full of beats and kicks that just get me going.  The song is about “how we circle the problem, unknowingly spinning the web tighter” and that’s what the vocalist Jonny Hawkins says.

And now for the tea, I’m going to choose something that will pump me up full of energy. I think that the Orange Spice might do just want I need. It’s an amazing blend composed of:  black tea, orange and cinnamon. It’s naturally sweet and the cinnamon rounds up that taste, and with just a little bit of milk it will remind you of a chai tea. Hot or with some ice this tea is a perfect beverage to enjoy if you need a little shove out the door.

Broken Bones

Hey guys!

Today my need for a certain tea is well establish, and that means I’m drinking the Raspberry & Flowers blend. This is a beautiful combination of: green tea, raspberries and apple pieces, chamomile and sunflowers petals. It’s easy, refreshing and it can easily be turn into an iced tea if you need. The fruity combination of raspberry and apple paired with the flowers makes it into something you can enjoy and feel the calm flow right thru you.

As for the song, I’m choosing “Broken Bones” from the indie, powerpop, garage rock band CRX. It’s not a heavy tune on the ears and the guitar riffs and drum kicks just give you a little energy. The vocals aren’t overpowering but it brings a sort of temptation when you listen to it. Plus the chorus feels like a little lullaby that you just can’t get enough of. Those are my choices for today. Your Song

So the last couple of days were filled with emotion and I’ve got to say that I found my happiness is someone else’s smile. There was a point yesterday when I was speechless and I realized that I’ve never felt like that for anyone before. And because of that the new single from Rita Ora which I've listened more than 100 times and I still can hear it some more is the perfect choice to express my feelings. The track is called “Your Song” and it’s an upbeat, radio friendly tune, full of positivity and it just gives you a feeling that everything is going right and that’s where your life is right now.  Plus the her voice is on point and the lyrics are beautifully written, and my favorite is: “When I kiss your lips, feel my heartbeat thump”.

Now for the tea, I’m going to choose something that is perfect to help you beat the heat. It’s called a Hot Pink Lemonade, and it’s an herbal tea that gives you a refreshing and it gives to that summer flavor a new and improved update. This blend is made of: apple pieces, lemongrass, candied pineapple pieces, hibiscus, candied papaya pieces, beetroot pieces, vervain, lemon peels, orange blossoms, marigold blossoms. It’s the perfect taste, the perfect color and the perfect way to enjoy summer.

Petrichor

Today I really feel the need for something that will put me on my feet, cause I fill a cold coming on. And because of that my choice is Turmeric Comfort. It’s a perfect blend of: honey bush, rooibos, turmeric, cinnamon, pepper, ginger, honey bee pollen. Almost all the ingredients of this tea have benefic attributes for: inflammation, cold, flu, stress and weight loss.

And my choice of song is … “Petrichor” by Tall Ships, a melodic hardcore, indie band for the UK. I immediately fall on love with this track, its drum kicks, guitar riffs, just this tune beats and melodic line. Plus the lyrics are an expression of originality and emotion carefully created with some wonderful words. “My favorite smell is petrichor/ The scent straight after rain/ An illusion of beginning again” it’s just the perfect showcase of a brilliant songwriter.

Glorious

Hey guys!

So, I’m still in a good mood and I’m rejoicing I it. And because of that today’s song is going to be “Glorious” by Macklemore but without Ryan Lewis and he is featuring Skylar Grey. This track has that certain something that just keeps your mood elevated and it gives you that feeling that you can do a lot of things, at least for me. It’s a positive gospel like tune empowering without sounding to cheesy just a pure feel good sound.

And now for the tea, my choice is going to be the Heavenly Hazelnut. This is a marvelous blend of: honeybush, carob beans, chicory root, agrimony herb and hazelnuts. It contains no caffeine, so that you can enjoy it at any time of day, and it has the perfect taste of nuts with a highly beneficial and delightful aroma that is just sooo delicious that you will want seconds.

Don't You Feel It

Right now I’m in the mood for something fruity and I think that the Elephant Blend tea might do the trick. This is a perfect combination of: rooibos tea, banana flakes, coconut, mango pieces, pineapple flakes, papaya and orange slices. It’s an exotic combination, creamy and sweet that will help you brighten you day.

As for the song, I’m choosing the drum and bass powerhouse Sub Focus new pop, club base track “Don’t You Feel It” featuring ALMA.  This is quite the infectious tune, it has a lot of hooks and it somehow showcases Sub Focus ability to conquer any kind of genre. Plus ALMA’s voice is just the right amount of soft and powerful and it brings this song to a full circle. That’s about it for today…

Can't Get Enough Of Myself

So today I woke up in a great mood and I had everything go my way and I thought I should share this feeling. It all started with me searching for Santigold’s music and I found  last year’s single and it just elevated my mood even more. I’m talking about “Can't Get Enough Of Myself”  and it’s a narcissistic exaggeration that feels like and empowering anthem.  This song just makes me happy with that upbeat tune and that funky way of looking of things “Ha ha, funny me, life of the party, VIP/ Got so much flavor, put me on the buffet”.

And the tea came easy after that, the perfect pairing is the Red Passion. It’s rooibos tea with cinnamon, peppermint, passion fruit, lemon myrtle & orange peel. Fruity, refreshing, full of passion and good hot or with some ice. What more would you need for a perfect day?

Something In The Way You Move

Hey you!

So I’ve got to say that the past few day have been great, I feel really lucky especially when it comes to the people in my life. And because of that when I rediscovered Ellie Goulding’s song “Something In The Way You Move” it made a lot of sense and I really started loving this track. It’s carefree, upbeat, and it has that pop sound that gets stuck in your head easily. Plus her voice is still amazing and she gives as a lot of hooks and repetitive lyrics so we can sing along with her.

And now for the tea, my choice is (drum roll) The Wedding Cake tea. This is an extremlly beautiful combination of: white tea, green tea, lavender, blue cornflowers and calendula petals & heather flowers. It’s just the perfect blend of refreshing and sweet with a touch of serenity that gets all the tension out of your body. That about it for today, now…

Electric Indigo

Hey guys!

Today I am listening to “Electric Indigo” by the Australian indie-rock band The Paper Kites. It’s a slow track that makes you reflect in your life, it has that certain something that just keeps you relaxed. It’s full of soft noises and it feels like a midnight lullaby. Plus the vocals make me feel like I’m somewhere between a state of dream and the most beautiful dawn I can imagine.

As for the tea… I’m drinking a new blend I created, and I’m going to name it Sweet Red Mate. It has a little bit of: green mate, chamomile, cranberries, hibiscus, bacopa and rose petals. I added just a pinch of sugar & ice and the taste magically transformed on something even better.
