Hey you!

So for the past few days I haven’t have so much to sleep and every morning it’s hard to just get out if bed. But with a little help I’m able to do it. Like today I’m drinking a Wildkirsche tea which is a blend of black tea with cherries and rose petals. It’s an infusion with a great taste and full of flavors. Plus the rose petals give this tea a perfect aroma that makes you wanna try conquer the world.

As for the song my choice is “Ultralife” by the electro-pop duo Oh Wonder. This track is about that feeling of serenity you get when you meet someone.  It’s a lovesick song full of cute lyrics and accompanied by a slow and not to heavy beat that makes you feel better. Plus this part “I got love falling like the rain/ I never could've asked for more” just makes me enjoy this song even more.

In Cold Blood

Hey guys!

Today I’m listening to something weirder than usual, not exactly my cup of tea but somehow I like the song. It’s called “In Cold Blood” and it’s from the British indie, alternative, electronic, rock band Alt-J. The track came out a few hours ago and it full of complex and futuristic cuts and with a big bass line. Plus that “la la la” vocal hook that seems to bring everything closer together.

And my choice in tea today is Volcano. It’s a black tea with apple, cinnamon, cardamom, orange, red pepper and coriander. Plus some organic oils that make the taste even better. With just a little milk and maybe something sweet on the side, it’s definitely the beverage I’m going to enjoy as my afternoon tea.

Great Wall Of China

Hello!

Today I was searching for some new songs and bands for me to listen and I came across this post-rock, progressive group from Russia and they are called City Of The Lost. One of my favorite songs is “Great Wall Of China” it has a metal vibe to it from time to time since you can hear every instrument going harder. Plus for me it has a certain something that just takes me to another place.

As for the tea I’m choosing an infusion of fruit so we can enjoy something sweeter today. It’s called Orange Dream and like you are going to guess it contains oranges. Plus some other ingredients like: apple, mandarin, marigold and horse chestnut leaves. It’s a perfect beverage and it could fit within your daily routine.

Hoping

Hey guys!

This morning I woke up and started drinking an infusion that put my blood in motion. It’s called Yoga Tea Spice and it’s a mix of: cinnamon, ginger, nettle leaves, clove, blackberry leaves, cardamom seeds, white pepper. It’s a very simple blend that will energize you, give you a great feeling and it will leave you with the taste of wanting more.

For the second part of our usual routine I’m choosing “Hoping” by X Ambassadors. It’s an indie track, with a great message for all of us but especially intended for those how are currently living in fear, self-doubt.  This is a spiritual song full with emotional lyrics accompanied by that acoustic guitar and that piano that transmits so much love and hope.

Feel It Still

Hey guys!

Today let’s listen to something that will pump us up and give us a great feeling. This track comes from the experimental indie rock band Portugal. The Man and it’s called "Feel It Still". It’s one of those songs that when it plays on the radio you’ll just turn it up or if you are like me you’ll really enjoy hearing all those beats and bass within the comfort of your headphones. Plus “Oooh wooo, I'm a rebel just for kicks now” is the best line J)

As for the tea, I know the perfect pair. It’s called the Teaquila Sunrise and it’s a beautiful red blend mixed with hints of oranges and lemon. It’s an infusion of: yerba maté, hibiscus, cinnamon, peppermint, lemongrass, rose hips, orange peel. And you can make extra yummy just by adding just a pinch of actual tequila.

Too Much To Think

So 311 are dropping a new album this summer and a few days ago they released the album’s first single. It’s called “Too Much To Think” and it’s an uplifting track, one that will make you just move around with the beat. From the first seconds you can feel their old sound but somewhere along the line it transforms into something new.  This track it definitely worth a listen and let’s hope that the album will have some kind of a beautiful disaster  that will make us wanna listen to it some more.

Let’s see, for the tea I’m choosing something that will help sharpen your mind, de-stress your body and keep you alert without any jitters like the usual cup of coffee. This blend is called Jasmine & Juniper and its ingredients are: green tea, yerba maté, juniper berries, jasmine flowers, ginkgo biloba 

leaf, ashwagndha root and almond extract for those of you that like that.

Death Of Love

Today I’m opting for a straight forward love song. It’s called “Death Of Love” and it’s by the English singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.  It’s an elegant, charming track that creates an endearing picture that talk about love. Like always her voice is perfectly balance by the electronic and acoustics sound and she delivers a heartwarming track full of meaningfully lyrics. My favorite has to be “But in my mind we're king and queen/ You make the best of everything”, it really speaks to me.

Now for the tea, I’m choosing something as loving as the song. It’s called Té Amoré and it’s a simple blend made of: lemongrass, ashwagandha root, coconut flakes, carob bean, rose petals, oat-straw and passionflower. It has a sweet, lemony and chocolaty taste to is that will help with your immune system, digestion, anxiety and it can even boost your energy.

Death In Rebirth

Hey guys!

Today I woke up and felt a little weak. I know that spring is just getting here but apparently now it the perfect time to catch a cold, and since we don’t want that to happen I’m thinking that a hot tea with a powerful combination that offers antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, digestive and cardiovascular benefits, and much more is the perfect choice. Plus it’s a simple one, it just has: turmeric, ginger and black pepper. Easy enough?

For the song I’m choosing a post-rock one since it’s been a few days since I recommended one. This one comes from the band Mono, a band from Tokyo, Japan, and it’s called “Death In Rebirth”. It’s a track that builds slowly till it gets to it’s kind of sinister climax. It’s a song that has a lot of influence and you can tell that just after one listen, and it’s the first song from their album “Requiem for Hell” that seems to be inspired by Dante’s The Divine Comedy.

Wild Love

Today I was browsing thru YouTube and I came across this collaboration between Kendall Jenner & Elle King for Estee Lauder’s New Pure Color Love Lipstick ad. This video has a great concept and it made me love this song immediately. It’s catchy and fun with easy lyrics and Elle’s raspy vocals just make the song better. The song is called “Wild Love” and I’ve got to say: it made my day. Plus in the ad Elle says to Kendall “you’ve got enough going on”; that just really made me laugh.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a white one cause for the last couple of days that’s what I seem to be drinking. This one is called the Raspberry/Gojiberry/Bergamot tea and it’s an infusion of: white tea, goji berries, currants, Curaçao orange peel, blackberry leaves, rose petals, acacia, pomegranate and mallow flowers, raspberry pieces. It’s sweet, fruity and all together a great beverage at any time of the day.

It Ain't Me

So ever since last week I’ve been listening to Kygo’s new single, the one featuring Selena Gomez. The song is called “It Ain't Me” and it’s a powerful tune about a dysfunctional relationship that was destroyed by the alcohol or something like that. Its pretty catch and easy to listen, it has some piano infused beats and a vocal effect that it’s going to make this track get stuck in your head, at least that what happened to me.

Now when it comes to the tea, I’m choosing something calming and relaxing, I’m choosing the Coconut Chamomile tea. This is a beautiful combination of: kiwi, coconut, apple, chamomile, sour cherries & cranberries. It’s sweet, full of flavors and it will just give you a good and comforting feeling.

I Feel It Coming

So for the last couple of days I’ve been listening to “I Feel It Coming” by The Weekend featuring Daft Punk. I’m not going to talk about these artists because we all know about them, but the song is a different subject. It has an 80’s vibes with a danceable, urban, house sound with sexual innuendoes delivered by The Weekend with some flawless vocals. For me the hook is the best part of the song cause it’s not just about sex, it’s about love also: “You've been scared of love and what it did to you/ You don't have to run, I know what you've been through”.

As for the tea I’m going to choose something that has a few aphrodisiacs as ingredients and if you are in that mood this will definitely be a great choose. I’m not sure how to name the tea yet but the blend is made of: rooibos, cinnamon, orange peel and Damiana leaf. Give it a try and I hope you are going to enjoy it.

Anymore

So today we are going to listen to a track that has a 90’s electronica grove to it. It’s called “Anymore” and it’s by the British duo Goldfrapp. It has that underground dance club vibe too it with repetitive lyrics, heavy synths and deep beats. This is defiantly a sexually-charged electronic pop song that seems to be sung by someone who is in a certain mood, someone that wants to try the motion of the ocean. “You’re what I want / You’re what I need / Give me your love / Make me a freak” and the repetitive “I can't wait, I can't wait anymore” speak for themselves.

And now for the tea I’m choosing a black one to help you in the energy department if you are in the same mood. This tea is called Moonlight and it’s a mix of: black tea, raisins, pieces of orange, coconut flakes, lemon peel, elderberry, sunflower petals, peony flowers, anise and rum. It will give you a little more vigor, it’s full of flavors and aromas and of course it has some booze in it too.

Daydream

Hey guys!

I was thinking that today we should slow things down and just listen to some chillout music. Something like “Daydream” by Tycho an American ambient music artist and producer. This track is a very simple and calming tune that’s progressing to something more. I think the artist made something very enjoyable and also something that when you listen to it with headphones you are going to find yourself emerge in the sound.

As for the tea I’m going to choose a herbal blend to make the experience even better. This is going to be an infusion of: ginger, thyme, orange peel, licorice root, myrtle, chamomile, blackberry leaves, rose flowers & pepper, and its called Strength. I know that for some time now I keep choosing teas with roses but I think the floral aroma that it brings could help you have a great day.

Break My Heart

I’m thinking that today we should drink something fruity, something with no caffeine but something that will make us feel better. So I’ve looked thru my collection of teas and I found the perfect one. It’s called the Dragonfruit Devotion, and it’s a blend of:  apple pieces, mango pieces, hibiscus, lemongrass, dragonfruit pieces, rose petals, orange peels & orange flower blossoms. It’s sweet with a lot of fragrance.

For our second part I’m show you, if you haven’t heard it, “Break My Heart” by Hey Violet, a pop-rock band from LA. Ever since I’ve found this song it’s been on repeat and I’m still not sick of it. It makes me dance, the melody gives me a good mood and it’s easy to sing.  It’s just a catchy track that will get stuck in your head.

Waterfall

Today I stumble upon the new single released a few days ago from Stargate featuring Sia & Pink, and you now it’s going to be amazing since is so much star power here. The song is called “Waterfall” and it’s about how you feel safe under the protection of someone you love. Their voices blend together and they delivered a beautiful track, one that makes me push the replay button. Plus when Pink sings “You may find me, 'cause my heart beats loud, so loud/ It beats fast, in the places where you touched me last” or when Sia sings “Baby, you're my oxygen/ When I cannot find my way on Earth” I’m like: damn, I can relate.

Now for the tea I’m choosing a rooibos one. That feels right, because it doesn’t contain caffeine but it will still give you a boost in energy, and it also contains some my favorite aphrodisiac :D. So this is a spice infusion of; rooibos, cinnamon, candied coconut pieces, ginger pieces, cloves, rose petals, cardamom, black pepper and vanilla pieces if you are in to that. And I forgot, the name of the tea is Dosha Chai.

The Worst In Me

I think it’s time we listen a post-hardcore, metalcore track form the LA band Bad Omen and the song is called “The Worst In Me”. This tune has a certain melodic metelcore to its sound and that might be a reason for me to like it. Or maybe it’s because I like those guitar riffs and drums kicking. Plus the band reminds me of Bring Me The Horizon, they have a similar sound, so you should check them out if you like this kind of thing.

Now for the tea I’m choosing a red one called Rhyannon’s Tea. It’s a combination of rooibos with coconut pieces, ginger bits, cinnamon, apple bits, cardamom & pepper. It’s a spice, energizing and full of flavors beverage that you can drink at any time. And let’s not forget that special aroma of apples with cinnamon, it’s perfect.

Today we are going to chill things down and listen to a French DJ going by the name Petit Biscuit. He has a lot of wonderful track even thou he is only 16, but one of my favorite is got to be “You”. This song it’s a combination of happy and sad with the piano playing front and center and then in the background and letting all those beats and drops kick in. And good way to show this young man’s talent and from now on I’m going to follow his work.

And now that it comes to the tea, I’m going to choose something that will calm you down and give you a good feeling. It’s called the Calm Buddha and it’s a blend of this ingredients: Kava Kava root, chamomile, passion flower, skullcap, St. John’s wort, spearmint, lavender and cinnamon. It’s a pleasant balance of smooth floral notes perfectly accentuated by the cinnamon.

Bad Behavior

Because The Maine has a new album coming out on the 7th of April I thought that we should listen to the new single they dropped. It’s called “Bad Behavior” and it captures the band essence, it’s up- beat and playful. It’s definitely a pop-punk track, and for me it’s one of their best, maybe because I really like some of the lyrics. One of my favorite is got to be this: “I wanna wear your lipstick/ 'Cause it means I got to kiss them”.  This song is stuck in my head today and I hope it will give you a great mood like it has giving me.

For the tea, I’m going to choose something that will pump you up, give you energy and keep you in a great moon. It’s a black tea with cinnamon, eleuthro root, goji berries, schisandra berries, nettle leaf, oat-straw & ashwaganda and it’s called Endurance. It will leave you with a certain taste of wanting more :D

Upside Down & Inside Out

So today I was thinking we should try the Tiramisu Black Tea. It’s full of flavors and because of all the chocolate and black tea it will definitely give you a boost in energy, and even keep you in a good mood. This tea is a blend of: black tea (of course), white chocolate, cabob pieces, cocoa flakes, chocolate bits, amaranth kernels and a little whiskey. It’s has a heavenly taste that you will never wanna give it up.

Now for the song I’m going to choose “Upside Down & Inside Out” by OK Go. I know I’m late to the party and that this song was viral on YouTube a year ago but I just found it. And I l love it, not just the video but the melody to. It gives me a good feeling and just gets me pumped. This track is full of psychedelics guitars, heavily sampled vocals and off the chart synths. What’s not to love about this song?

Because I Hear You

Hey you!

Today I’m listening to some post-rock track, it’s called “Because I Hear You” and it’s by the Japanese band Toe. I just discovered this band and I got to say that it’s something in their sound that just gives you a good feeling when you hear them. It feels more precise and mathematic than other post-rock bands that feel chaotic in their sound.  It’s a combination of artistic and some kind of architecture structure, I just love it. And it has the perfect title since there are little pauses and changes in the track so it feels like someone is talking.

As for the tea, I’m choosing a green one with the aroma of some flowers, something like Yasumi. Which is a combination of: green tea, sunflowers & rose petals and blueberry leaves. That feels like the perfect choice, it’s full of flavors and it will give you a little energy to get thru the day. That’s about it for today.

River

Hello!

So I just found this song and I got to say I’m in love with it. It’s called “River” and it’s by Oh, Be Clever an alternative, indie, electronic duo from Utah. This track is about accepting your imperfections and existing happily with them. At least that is my meaning; you can always find different senses that help you in your state of mine. “Lay me down in the river/ Love me like I'm a sinner” this is what I’m going to sing all day, I can feel it :D

As for the tea I’m choosing a white one cause I feel like I haven’t given you many choices of it when you are craving some. This one is called Lace and it’s a pretty simple blend. Its combination of: white tea, white chocolate bites and a little peppermint, for all of us that like it. It has a heavenly taste and it will make you feel all the aromas in it.

Beautiful Tango

Today I’m drinking a tea called Strawberry Mint that doesn’t contain strawberries of mint but instead it’s a blend of: rooibos, lapacho, green tea, sandalwood & ginger pieces. It has a sweet, softly spicy taste and its relaxing and calming beverage that you can enjoy at any hour if the day.

And now for the song I’m choosing “Beautiful Tango” by Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra. It’s a soft melody full of some sensual vocal with an intoxicating accent. It’s easy to get lost in her voice and in this song’s jazz vibe. It’s a soul warming track with lyrics speak wonderful about the way she dances with this beautiful stranger. “And the way you put your hands on my hips/ Are moving while you take it slow/ Makes me feel like I'm on a river flow”. Just one more thing, I'm choosing the unplugged version, that's the one that does it for me :D

Living

It’s Spring, or at least that’s what the calendar says :D. And because of that I think that we should listen to a feel good song that would keep you moving today. Something like “Living” by Bakermat featuring Alex Clare. This track has some funky guitar riffs combine with some indie-electronic beats. The lyrics are pretty catchy and Alex Clare does a great job singing them. “Don’t let nothing hold you down” was stuck in my head from the firs listen.

Since is the first day of Spring and the weather outside seems pretty warm I’m going to choose a green tea so we can relax and enjoy this day. The tea is called Spring Morning (it’s todays theme if you didn’t realized) and it’s a blend of: green tea, pieces of ginger, licorice root, lemon peel, hibiscus, pepper, pieces of verbena, jasmine flowers.
