Today I’m
in a mood for something sweet that I can enjoy it hot or cold, depending if the
temperature outside rises (let’s hope it doesn’t). So, what do you think about
Passionfruit tea? It’s a mix of black tea with passion fruit. Because of the
ingredients, mainly the passion fruit, this tea is good for your eyes, can
treat insomnia and reduces stress and anxiety. Plus, it will give you energy
and the taste is amazing.
About this
song I want to say that the first time I listened to it, it was at night, maybe
1 or 2 AM, and it was one of those moments when everything is chill and you
just think about what happened thru the day, good or bad. The song is called
“Heartlines” and it’s by Broods. It’s a love song with a bass that you could
dance to. “I wanna feel you heartlines” it’s all I can think about when I hear
this track.

Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
Today I’m
going to write about a song that means a lot to me. It was sent to me at the
perfect moment, by the perfect person, my person :D This track is called
“Potion” by SEE and it's an emotional love song. It hooks you right from the
start with an echoing drum and a soft voice. And the lyrics are just the right
amount of cheesy: “Your hands should be all over me/ Your lips, your teeth/
Don’t ever stop now” and, of course, “I’m addicted to your light”.
For the
tea, I’m going to choose something that calms you down, but also gives you
enough energy to get you thru the day. And it has a divine taste!!! I’m talking
about Belgian Chocolate Rooibos Tea. I
don’t think I need to explain my choice this time because I think you can
understand everything just by this tea’s name… CHOOOCOLAAATE!
Kisses and
Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
Remember
Blink 182? Guess what I found? A new track of theirs that I just love. It’s
called “Rabbit Hole” and it talks about not listening to your brain sometimes.
A pretty great advice if you ask me. This song had me at the first lyric “Dear
head, shut up”. I need that from time to time… head just shut up! I know I
haven’t done my job today, but I don’t wanna hear about it :P Let’s see… I don’t
have anything else to say about this since it stills sounds so much like the
Blink 182 we all know and love.
This song
put me in a mood for mango, I don’t know why. But I will give in and I’m going
to choose Organic Mango tea– a blend of black tea and mango, that’s it. But it
has a lot of benefits, like for your blood, skin health, immune system and, of
course, it’s the perfect energizer. Plus, since is so hot outside, you can
always turn it into an iced tea.
Kisses and
Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
A few days
ago I was walking around the mall with someone very dear to me when this song
started playing and it made me feel pretty good and somehow special. I’m
talking about “Glitterball” by Sigma featuring Ella Henderson, a drum and bass track
with some amazing vocals. This song has a really good groove and a summer vibe
attach to it. Plus some lovely lyrics, this ones are my favorite: “I cannot go,
‘cause my head’s a mess/ But you’re beautiful, in the way you dress” … cute
right?
Since today
is one of those extremely hot summer days, I’m going to choose an ice tea to go
along with the song. Something like a rhubarb ice tea, not just because of its
wonderful taste, but also for its color. I feel like pink is perfect for this
song. Rhubarb has a lot of benefits,
stimulates bone growth, prevents cardiovascular diseases, it’s an aid in weight
loss and it’s perfect for digestion.
How about I
help you out with the perfect recipe for this tea?All you need is:
8 stalks of
rhubarb cut into 8 cm lengths
8 cups of
water
1/3 cup of
sugar(if you like it sweet)
Fresh mint
(for garnish)
In a pan,
combine the rhubarb and the water, bring it to a boil and let it simmer for
about 1 hour. Strain the liquid, add sugar, stirring to dissolve, and allow it
to cool. Serve it over ice, with mint if you like it.

Today let’s talk about a song that has been
stuck in my head for the past few days and sometimes, if I write about it, it
goes away. So here it is: “Pink” by Aerosmith, a perfect rock song, in my
opinion. But you’ll have to get past all the sexual innuendos in the lyrics
(which are pretty flashy and quite brilliant on their own). Just hit play and
hear the drums snap and then Steve Tyler going: “Pink it's my new obsession”.
For the tea I’m going to choose something
that would put you in the mood, just like the song does. Something that will
help you try the motion of the ocean ;) So… a rooibos ginger tea sounds good
enough for you? Both of the ingredients are powerful aphrodisiacs known all
around the world, and this combination is definitely a good choice if you wanna
start something with your “lover”.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Here comes another day that seems to be a
good one. And because of that, I’m going to show you guys a song that makes me
feel good because of its rhythm. “All We Ever Know” by The Head and the Heart,
an alternative indie band from Seattle. The melody has a very heavy harmony and
an upbeat style that are paired with some beautiful lyrics: “I know sometimes
you get so caught in a dream/ But now it's time to wake up from this”. It’s a
song that has an optimistic message like it’s time to smell the roses or like
stop dreaming and turn your dreams into reality (at least that’s what I get
hihi)
Because this song is for one of those good
days, I’m going to choose a tea that will make this an easy task for any day-
Easy Day tea. That’s a blend of blackberry leaf, linden leaf and flower,
peppermint, lemon balm, and marshmallow leaf. It has a smooth, slightly minty
taste. This tea has a calming effect on your body, with just enough of a fruity
taste, to make you want more. Plus, if you have to study, this tea will help
you concentrate.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Another day, another song. This one has been
on repeat all day: “Soundcheck” by Catfish and the Bottlemen. Very catchy tune,
with a melody that builds up to the bridge and creates a bold and bigger sound,
more of a rock-like sound rather than an indie one. Plus, the guitar solo is
amazing; it makes waves in my head. Since I’ve listened to this song on repeat for
a good couple of hours now,I fell in love with a cute lyric that makes me smile
every time “You can fall asleep with my jacket as a cover/And wake up just to
join me to smoke”.
Let’s see… right now I am drinking a
cranberry & strawberry tea. Of course that those are not the only
ingredients in this tea. There are others including apple, rose-hip, raisins,
hibiscus, lemongrass and orange peel, which means this tea is going to have a
sweet & sour taste that is perfect even if you feel like turning it into an
iced tea.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I have another dance song for you,
something to make you move and help you get thru the day. “No Money” by
Galantis, a Swedish dance-pop super-duo. The catchy and happy lyrics that talk about
standing up to a bully who tried to take your money are sung by a young 12 year
old, Reece, and that makes the song even better. It’s an infections track, full
of bass lines, steel drums and a piano melody that brings them all together in
a very simple way.
Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate Tea is definitely
going to get you thru the day :) It’s a blend of apple pieces, hibiscus, rose
hip peels, green maté, raspberries, lemongrass, apple, rosebuds & citric acid.
This tea has a lot of health benefits because of all of its ingredients. It’s
good for your heart, immune system, skin health, blood circulation, brain power
and, of course, it has anti-aging properties, so enjoy it!
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
It’s exam season and I’m gonna try helping
you out a bit. Here is a tea that is perfect for calming you down, boosting
your brain power and helping your memory & concentration. And, of course,
it’s good for your eye sight and in the face of an exam, you really need your
good vision. I’m talking about Ginkgo Biloba. An interesting fact about ginkgo
biloba is that it is considered to be the oldest living tree on Earth. In fact,
studies have showed that this tree existed two hundred million years ago, and
it originally came from China.
Now the perfect song for studying. Every
time I needed to do it, this melody is always my first choice. It’s the theme
song for the anime movie “Howl’s Moving Castel” (my favorite movie btw) and
it’s written by Joe Hisaishi, a Japanese composer and musical director known
for more than 100 movie scores. His music style has been known to explore and
incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental
electronic, European classical, and Japanese
classical. It’s just perfect, hope you enjoy it.
Kisses an Go drink your tea (and study for those exams), I'm already drinking mine.
It’s a beautiful day, I’m feeling good and
I’m listening to “Good to Love” by FKA Twigs. Her voice melts perfectly with
the beat and the drops and makes an excellent sound. Plus, the instrumental
bridge makes me feel like I want more. This tune has some beautiful lyrics
like: “So will you hold me while I cry?/And let me lay against your side”. Who
doesn’t want a shoulder to cry on when one needs to? And of course, the last
minute of the song it’s breathtaking.
Since this song has such a melodic sound,
this might be a good song to listen to right before bed. Which means that I
going to choose a tea that will help you sleep and have nice dreams: Crispy
Dream tea.How does that sound? It’s a mix of apple, cinnamon, pineapple and
papaya pieces, raisins, caramelized almonds, beet pieces, coconut flakes and
popcorn flavor. This tea has a nice, sweet flavor and will definitely make you
dream.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
How are you guys feeling today? Because I’m pretty good, drinking tea and listening to music. This is definitely a good combination for me. Right now I’m drinking a black currant and mint iced tea (it has black tea in it as well), perfect for the weather outside. It’s summer FINALLY! :P Since all the ingredients I’ve mentioned are perfect for rising the energy levels, this feels like it’s going to be a great day. Maybe even better if I go outside for a walk or something.
I’m also listening to „Sugar” by Karmin. Remember when they did that cover for Busta Rhymes’s „Look at me Now”? I think that was awesome! But I also really like this song, a bit of rapping that Amy’s voice makes it even more inviting. Plus, I’m pretty sure everyone has or had in their lives that person that they would like to say: „Sugar, I can't think about anybody but you” to.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
Guess what? Garbage just dropped a new
album “Strange Little Birds” and the first single from this record is “Empty”.
I liked it from the first listen, maybe because I’ve missed this band's sound
or maybe because it’s just good. This track is perfect for those of us who are
lovesick. It’s has sympathetic and caring sound, but also somehow accusatory.
These lyrics say it all: “I'm so empty/You're all I'm thinking about”, “Every
day, every hour of the night/You're all I dream about”.
Since this song is a nice, fresh comeback,
how about a tea that will put you in a good mood? If you wanna have energy, if
you wanna get thru the day or if you just wanna crawl into bed, this is perfect:
Ginger Fresh, a bend of lemongrass, licorice root, ginger pieces, peppermint,
lemon peel & black pepper. This tea has a spicy, lemony taste and, of
course, the peppermint makes this combination even greater. Enjoy!
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
How about some blues or soul music for
today? I’m thinking about “Bright Lights” by Gary Clark Jr. because I
absolutely adore this song. It has a psychedelic sound full of smacking &
kicking drums, and the guitar played quite beautifully, while the artist sings
“You gonna know my name”, just does it for me. Plus, it sounds somehow perfect
because of those “Bright lights, big city going to my head” lyrics that are
like a drug, at least for some of us that like big cities.
Since the city can send us into new experiences
every day, I’m going to choose a tea that does the same: Adventure tea. It’s a blend
of rooibos, rose-hip, apple & kiwi, chopped almonds & hibiscus that has a
sweet and sour taste, just perfect for an afternoon tea that will make you appreciate
the rest of the day. This tea could make you look at the world around you and
find drug-like pleasures even in the small details.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I’ve been obsessed with this song for a
couple of weeks now and I thought I should share it with you. “Time (Post-Rock)”
by Kitchen, a band from Switzerland. This is an amazing track that’s chill and
slow in the beginning and afterwards, it becomes heavier and harder to resist
it. I’ve enjoyed this song so much, I hope you guys at least like it.
For me this song is quite calming and I
think it will pear up good with a green tea. Something in the line of Royal tea
because it’s a blend of green tea, Honey bush, raspberries, safflower, cornflowers & grapes. It’s a bit energizing thanks to the caffeine in the green
tea, but nothing too much,so it won’t keep you awake if you’re drinking it at
night.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Guys, have you heard about Stuck in the
Sound, the French, indie rock band? They have a song that I enjoy very much, that’s
called „Let’s Go”. It has an infectious riff and it’s obviously a good track.
The lyrics and the video seem to be talking about chasing your dreams but not
letting them consume you. “In the sun I
bathe, in everyday light/You draft me
down for a split second tomorrow/What am I supposed to do?” You just
have to pick yourself up and then just go.
The tea should be something that you would
like to enjoy every day, something like Sundew – a blend of green tea, mango,
apricot with sunflower & red rose blossoms and cornflowers. This tea gives
you everything you would ever need: good taste, health benefits and energy to
get thru the day. Also, it makes for a lovely iced tea.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
"Let me see the dark sides as well as
the bright/ I'm gonna love you inside out" it’s just an amazing way
to tell someone how much you love them. That’s exactly what is happening in
“Inside Out” by The
Chainsmokers featuring Charlee. This song has a
lovely message and Charlee’s voice is raw and breathtaking and it somehow
consumes you into the song which makes everything even better. Also I think the
beats of the song just fit perfectly. It’s an emotional track that speaks about
love, unconditional love to be précised, and it’s pure and extremely sweet.
Since summer is finally here and this is a
love song, I‘m choosing Summer Love tea,a mix of rooibos, apple pieces,
rose-hip, strawberry pieces. This tea will give you energy, has a fruity
taste and its red coloring brings everything perfectly together. Plus, this tea is
good of your skin and we need good skin to show off in the summer, AmIright?:P
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Sooo… today I was listening to this song,
after a long time I thought I have forgot about it, and I realized that I still
love it. I’m talking about „Sextape” by Deftones, a band that I like because
someone else I love, loves it. This song even has the perfect start – “floating
underwater”– that’s like a dream and after 2 more verses you are overwhelmed by
the bridge & chorus that brings everything so perfectly together.
For the tea I’m choosing something that
will keep you grounded but also give you energy to try almost anything (even
the motion of the ocean :P) Fig & Lavender: black tea, fig bits, lavender,
cinnamon & cloves, a splendid combination of taste and feelings in a
perfect tea.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I’m in a very chill mood today, maybe
because of all the tea I’ve been drinking or just because. So this morning I
decided to drink an ice tea and I made something to match my mood: a lavender
iced tea, my own personal blend with lavender (of course :P), lemongrass and
peppermint. It has a perfect taste, lemony, minty and the lavender brings them
nicely together. I think that’s perfection. Hope you enjoy it as well.
Ok, now the song. I’ve found this track today and I loved it from the start. It’s called “Coexist” by Prismo. It’s a
trap, electro sound that made me fell deep into my own thoughts. The lyrics are
kind of cute and I love the verse about the stars – “If you lose my beating
hear/From the stars above/I'll shine on you” (anything with stars makes me act
silly). I think this is going to be the song of the day for me.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
Today I am in a very good mood (as always I
guess). My morning started perfectly and I want to keep having this feeling all
day long. So I started looking up for some new music, the kind I don’t listento
everyday, but that might change because I found this: „Lone Digger” by Caravan
Palace, an electro swing band from France. This track had me hooked from its
first beats and Zoe’s sweet but quiet, seductive voice and performance
definitely had me wanting more because <Your head has no right to say no/Tonight
it's "ready, set, go" >. And if you wanna dance, this song can
make that happen, sooo enjoy it.
Since this song will make you want to move,
how about a tea that will do the same? A tea that will give you clean energy –guayusa
tea with chocolate –, doesn’t that sound just perfect? This tea will boost your
energy levels and is much healthier than your usual cafe latte. Also, its taste
is delightful (Chocolate! wink, wink), so maybe you should give it a try.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I was in a
funny mood today and this song pulled me out of it: „Rosie” by The Kooks. It’s
a catchy tune, it has an excellent rhythm and quite a Beatles vibe. It’s an
emotional song with a satisfying beat, plus the name does a lot more for me other
than just making me feel good. The lyrics are perfect: „Lust will do funny
things / I don't want you to go out looking so good” (somebody’s getting
jealous) „But you're a
big girl and I think you already know / You've been bought and sold”. I
definitely like this song.
I don’t
think I know a tea that goes with this kind of lust. I'm kidding :P Let’s see…how
about Chai Indienne? It’s a mix of black tea, cinnamon, ginger bits, cloves,
cardamom, black pepper, rose petals, vanilla bits (if you like vanilla) &
safflowers. It's an energizing tea, with a little bit of spice to put you in
the mood to try the motion of the ocean. Plus,it has other health benefits like:
improves your immune system, boosts your brain activity, helps your skin health
& it’s a good way to fight bacteria.
Kisses and
Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
I’m ashamed
to admit this, but I just found out about this song recently and I was impressed
with its melody and lyrics. I’m talking about „Come With Me Now” by Kongos,
a folk, rock, alternative band from South Africa. It’s a track that gives you all kinds of
different sensations and I think that the guitar makes what I just said into a statement. The lyrics are amazing:
„Afraid to lose control/And caught up in this world” and „I tried to sell my soul
last night/Funny, he wouldn't even take a bite”. It’s just the perfect way to
put you in motion, that makes you even wanna dance or at least stay vigilant
for what is to come :P
The tea
should be something that will make you wanna take a chance on life. Zingiber
Ginger Coconut Rooibos Tea is a blend of red rooibos, ginger pieces, coconut
chips, cinnamon, apple pieces, cardamom and black pepper. This has a spicy
taste that will give you energy. It tastes like an adventure or a trip to the
stars or to infinity and beyond (that is what Buzz Lightyear would say). Hope
you enjoy it as much as I do.
Kisses and
Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
I have a
friend that listens to this girl a lot. And, in the last couple of months,
every time when she has to choose the music we should listen to, she chooses
Elliphant :P. It’s fine; she started to grow on me. And it seems that I’ve been
listening to this song for the last hour, so it makes perfect sense to write
about it. I’m talking about „Where is Home”. On this track, Elliphant has
teamed up with Twin Shadow
and released a pop song that shows the hardness and the magnetism of her
earlier music. The lyrics are perfect and it feels like she believes more in
the idea that „home isn’t 4 walls. It’s 2 eyes & a heartbeat”. That’s my
thought, too.
The tea
should be something that reminds everyone of home, something like an apple
pie... how about Grandma’s Apple Pie tea? It’s a mix of black tea, apple,
cinnamon, currents & almond bits (almonds are still not my favorite, but I
will make another exception). This will give you a little energy and a whole
lot of nostalgia, just from the smell. Enjoy!
Kisses and
Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking mine.
