We all have those nights when you can’t
sleep, for me it happen more than I would like. And when that happens I listen
to some music and drink some tea or something warm so it feels like someone is
giving me a hug. One of my favorites is
the Nightea Night tea, a combination of: orange peel, licorice root, chamomile,
peppermint, and lavender, stevia leaf and some honey if I have some. This tea
helps me to relax and sleep and it even has a great taste.
Now the song. It’s a pop one but is chill
and mellow, a just a few drums kicking :D. I’m talking about “1000 Nights” by
Frenship, a duo from LA. It has some cute lyrics like: “I've been known to run/
Just to feel the rush” and “For 1000 nights/ I've been a restless soul/ Just
wasting time”. There are a lot more but this are my favorites.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already

I just found this song by Of Monsters And
Men, an indie, folk band from Iceland. This track is called “Empire” and it’s
quite the melodic and stunning. It has some beautiful lyrics that are more
poetic and it can have a few interpretations.
But it sounds truly good and it’s catchy. They brought the images of
land and weather to this melody that can signify a lot of things. Like the rain
which often symbolizes bad things that can turn out for the better. Find you
own meaning in this song, see what sticks with you.
I think this track would pair up nice with
a white tea, one with some fruits even. How about a White Cherry tea? It’s a
blend of: white tea, cherries, coconut flakes, rosebuds and a little jasmine.
This will bring lots of flavor to your life and benefits. Like: boosting your
metabolism, strengthens the immune system and has antibacterial and antiviral
effects.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already

“Oh God, I miss you too/ It's all I ever
do/ I'm coming back to you/ And I won't let go”, this is the chorus of the song
“Miss You” by Gabrielle Aplin, an indie artist from the UK. I know this song
it’s about missing your ex, or something like that but I think some of the
lyrics fit as well for all the times when you are apart from someone that you
care about. Plus it’s a very catchy track that makes you wanna sing to it
whenever it plays.
As for the tea, I’m in love with anything
that is red, so the Heavenly Hazelnut tea is going to be my choice. This is a
mix of rooibos, honeybush, carob bean, chicory root, agrimony herb infused
with hazelnuts. It’s delightful and very beneficial blend that will leave you
wanting more. And for the some of you that like vanilla, try adding it to this
tea and you will have a rich and nutty infusion in your hands.
Kisses and go drink your tea, I’m already

Let’s give Christmas one more day, at let’s listen to Simple Plan’s Christmas song. It’s called “Christmas
Every Day”. It has all the good cheer of the season, and will be a great
addition to your holiday playlists. Plus it list’s everything you may want or
could do this season. “Oh Santa Claus, if I could have my way/ I wish it was
Christmas every day”, kinda wish for that too.
How about a Winter Cocktail for the tea?
It’s a combination of: black tea, almond flakes, cinnamon, cloves, apple bits
and some Bourbon added to the mix. This will give you energy and the warmth
that you need to go outside and enjoy everything this holiday has to offer.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already

Presents, snow (or no snow in my case),
family and food! That’s all I need, and maybe a tea and song combination to
make it the perfect day. The truth is
that a have a few Christmas songs that I like and it’s very hard to choose,
maybe “Rudolph the red nose reindeer” or “Santa Clause is coming to town” or
“Winter Wonderland”, damn are too many. In the last few years because of
Coca-Cola commercials, Train’s song “Shake Up Christmas” puts me in the giving
mood. So that is going to be my choice.
As for the tea, I know the perfect one.
It’s called Christmas Tea Royal, and it’s a blend of black tea, pineapple bits,
almonds (for the one’s that like them), cloves, cinnamon and ginger. It’s the
perfect wintery beverage enjoyed with some milk and maybe some of Santa’s
cookies.
Let’s try something more upbeat today. Like
“Good Morning” by Grouplove. It screams happiness and it has a catchy beat and
melody. It seems to have the power to inspire positivity in whomever listens to
it. “The night is young, the rest is up to you" feel like the perfect
anthem for all those nights when you wanna do something new.
For us to be in a good mood all day let’s
drink something with a lot of flavor and something that will delight our taste
buds. I’m thinking that Organic
Chocolate Monkey Tisane Tea might do something about it. It’s a blend of
rooibos, cacao nibs, apple bits, banana chips, pink peppercorn and chocolate. It’s
a guilty free craving, with no calorie indulgence.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
So because of someone I found a new blend
that I just love. Not sure what to name it but I’ve got to say it’s a flavor of
all the good days. It’s a combination of: black tea, rooibos, orange peel,
cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, a bit of ginger and also cacao powder. It has all
the right ingredients to transform your day, and when you drink it with someone
you love it gets even better.
Let’s see, for the song I’m choosing “I
Wanna Get Lost With You” by Stereophonics. It’s a love song and it captures the
energy and the moment of first falling in love with someone and not being able
to get them out of your head. The drums being kicked makes you tap your foot
right from the start. Plus simplicity and memorable rhyme help with that. And
Kelly Jones’ alluring vocals just brings all those things together and turns it
into something unforgettable.
Kisses and go drink your tea, I’m already

I found this song a few days ago and I just
can’t stop listening to it. It’s edgy and it has a catchy chorus, some really
good guitar riffs and drum kicks. It’s defiantly one of my favorites right now.
I’m talking about “Sweet Disaster” by Dreamers, a punk, indie, electronic band
from Brooklyn. The song is about how it feels to just get drunk and forget
about everything, easy right? “In a river of champagne”, that sound expensive
and I kinda wanna try it someday.
Now for the tea to be in the same theme,
let’s have something with a little alcohol. I’m thinking of an Earl Grey Tea
Cocktail. This beverage is an energy buster. It has a very mild flavor of tea
with a dash of lemon, a touch of lavender and then lightly sweetened with honey
simple syrup. All you need is: Earl Grey
tea, gin, honey, lemon juice and lavender. Combine them when the tea is cold
and give it a try ;)
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
The holidays are coming and that means we
have to shop and clean and go insane cause we don’t gave a lot of time to do
all those things. And because of that I think that this next song will make
perfect sense for you. It’s called “Easier” by Mansionair an experimental,
instrumental band from Sydney. This track
explores the endless piles of questions we can find ourselves asking those
around us and the frustration of feeling like you’re going nowhere, or at least
that’s how the band describes it. You know all those moments when you’re lying
in bed wondering where your life is going; this song fits right in there, with
the mesmerizing melody, the vocals and the those lyrics that will get stuck in
your head :D
And when it comes to the tea, I think that
a green one will do the trick. It will give you some energy but also before you
start cleaning everything around you, don’t forget about your body. It’s a blend
of green tea, orange peel, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, senna, cacao nibs, and
pomegranate arils. It’s called an Organic Cleansing, and it will do just that.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today feels like one of those classic
winter days. It’s cold, really cold actually, and no courage to leave the bed
and go outside. But we have and because of that I’m going to suggest a black
tea. The name of this blend is: S’mores. A mix of black tea with marshmallows,
chocolate bits & you should drink it with some graham cracker by your side.
Plus it’s a wintery almost Christmas tea that will definitely make you feel
better about what is to come.
As for the song, it’s an indie, folk track
and of course it’s about love, or that what it sounds to me. It’s a mellow song,
easy to listen and not exactly energetic but it should make feel loved and I think
that’s even greater. I’m talking about “Meet Me In The Woods” by Lord Huron. The
beginning is a wonderful, a bit enigmatic and haunting that transforms into a
beautiful exciting ballad.
Kisses and Go drink you tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I was browsing thru my YouTube feed
and I realize that Bastillle has a new video for their single “Blame”. It’s an
alternative track, full of mystery and gives us an illusion of a “duel”. It has
a certain swagger to it, it’s dynamic and it will make your foot move without
you even realizing. If someone says: “You’ve been granted three wishes” … what
would be yours?
Now the tea. This blend was inspired by the
spice Mexican chocolate coffee and its name is: Mexican Chocolatea. It’s a combination
of: Yerba Matè, honey bush, ginger, cacao nibs, cinnamon, anise & fennel
seed, cloves and cayenne pepper. The taste will invigorate you and give you the
energy for a full day. Plus the aroma of chocolate that it has will definitely
make life better.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Feels like a good day, right? And because
of that I’m choosing a song that is slow, mellow and has a beautiful melody
full of harmonies that just go together. I’m talking about “Livewire” by Oh
Wonder, an indie band from London. This track has a minimal piano playing from beginning
to end, light vocals and a delicate atmosphere that seem to balance the melody
and not overpower the lyrics. Give it a try. You might fall in love all over
again just by listening to this song and thinking about your special someone. I
did :D
Because this song is so powerful but gentle,
I think that we should pair it with something that will give you a calm and
relaxing mood. How about a Passion Flower tea? It’s a mix of: white tea,
passion flower, mango, honey bush, blackberry leaf, and lemon. It’s a vibrant,
mood boosting tea full of aromas.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
So… I found this song a few hours ago and
since then it got stuck in my brain, especially the intro. The song it’s called
“All Those Friendly People” and it’s by Funeral Suits, an alternative, indie
band from Ireland. They have a love of epic, distorted guitars, burning
harmonious pop, art rock and electronica and they love to share that with us. When
I heard the name Funeral Suits I was expecting a gloomy, haunting even
sound, however I feel their sound has more animated than I expected, and I
love it.
Today we are going to have a weird track in
our mist. It’s called “Vampire” and it’s by Nitemayor, they used to be called Lazyboy
Empire. It’s an anthem for this creature apparently, with a sax filled vibe,
and some clever lyrics. This song keeps me in a good mood and sometimes it even
makes me wanna dance. “This is how it starts/ Little bit of wine” and “Well
tonight I want to live forever/ Baby I can take you there with me” make
everything come together. For me, maybe you’ll find something else to cling on
to.
As for the tea, I think that a black tea might
make everything even better. How about Black is the new Black tea? It’s a blend
of black tea (English breakfast and Assam), elderberries, all-spice and
licorice root. This will give you energy and it’s and it’s an absolutely delight
to drink it, especially when you feel the lovely aroma of elderberries.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Since it’s the start of a new week I
thought we should all try something different. This week I bought some turmeric
and I think this is the perfect new thing to try. I found a blend
Turm It Up! which is a combination of: turmeric, hibiscus, lemon peel, ginger
and if you like a bit of vanilla. It’s a fruity blend with a spice taste to it.
And because turmeric is a superfood, this tea is packed full of benefits.
And now when it comes to the song my choice
is going to be “True North” by You.May.Die.In.The.Desert. This band comes from
Seattle and their music fits in the post-rock, instrumental, experimental genres.
It’s a very enjoyable track full of bits to follow and your mood might change
with them. It will get you pumped and ready for anything that this day might
bring you.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today is a good day, don’t you think? And because
of that I’m drinking a Amazon tea. This is a blend of: rooibos, licorice root,
orange peel, chocolate bits, rose petals, cardamom, cinnamon and fennel. It’s a
sweet mix of ingredients, with a beautiful smell and aroma. It will give you a
bit of energy and it my put you in a moot to try the motion of the ocean
because the chocolate, cardamom, cinnamon and fennel are all aphrodisiacs.
Now when it comes to the melody I choose a love
song. It’s called “Fire Escape” and it’s by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness witch
is the third musical project by Andrew McMahon. It’s a cheery and up beat track
that will keep you smiling and maybe even dancing without realizing. The chorus
has some clever lyrics that say: “You’re my number one,/ You’re the reason I’m
still/ Up at dawn/ Just to see your face./ We’ll be going strong/ With the
vampires, baby./ We belong, we belong.” . Maybe because of that I can’t stop
myself from putting the song on repeat.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
It’s kinda cold outside so let’s listen to something
that will get us amped for today. My pick is “Beat Of My Drum” by Powers, an
alternative rock, electronic duo. This is a good song to start the day with;
the beat and rhythm get you moving. The chorus is catchy and the vocals will remind
you of Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, they seem to have the same vocal range. Give it
a try, you might find yourself “Making moves, to the beat of my, beat of my
drum” ;)
Right now I’m drinking a chai tea, it’s
called Sugar & Spice. It’s rich and spicy with hints of orange and brown
sugar. This blend is made from: black tea, rooibos, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger,
all-spice, cardamom, elderberries, peppercorn, licorice root, brown sugar,
vanilla & orange extract. It will worm you up and get you enough
energy for a great day.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I woke up in a great mood. It’s
snowing outside and my mom is coming to visit; what more can I ask for? And because
of that I’m drinking a black tea so my disposition stays where it is and I have
the energy to enjoy this great day. I read about this blend a few days ago and
this morning I decided to give it a try. It’s called Orange You Glad I said
Chocolate (cute name right!?!), this is a mix of: black tea, rooibos, orange
peel, cacao nibs (I put some dark chocolate instead), carob beans and rose-hip.
It’s a very flagrant tea with rich tones of orange and chocolate.
Sooo… I discovered this song in the
morning, trying to find new to enjoy, and that I did. I’m talking about “Modern
Act” by Cloud Nothings, an indie rock band from Cleveland. It has some high energy
vibe to it that just makes you wanna do something, especially when the hook
comes in. “I want a life, that's all I need lately/ I am alive but all alone” that's what will stick with you after just one listen. Enjoy!
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
So yesterday I got a new tea, the truth is
that I actually got it as a present from one of my favorite people. And this
morning the first thing I did after I brushed my teeth and wash my face, I heated
some water to try this tea out. It’s called Pretty Woman and it’s a blend of:
rooibos, raspberry leaves, rosebuds, peonies, rose petals, daisies,
strawberries and raspberries. This tea has a lot of flavor to it and an even
greater smell. This is going to become a necessity from now on.
Now let’s talk about todays song. It’s
called “For You” by JPB featuring Luke Cusato, a trap, electronic, future base
track. It has some stunning vocals combined with some amazing beats and drops. The
lyrics talk about love and the things that it makes you feel and do for the
person you love. “And in my dreams, nothing came close/ To you” and “I've seen
the best of you unfold/ And all of that you've become” this are some of my
favorite lyrics.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I found this song this morning and it made
me smile and I just really enjoy it. I’m talking about “Falling In Love” by Dennis
Kruissen featuring Langston. It’s and EDM track, a future bass track to be more
exact, that tell the story of how it feels to fall in love, and those feelings
that you cannot explain. Those vocals match perfect with the drops of this song
and create something meaningful, soft but full of power. The power of falling
in love :D. My favorite lyrics got to be this “Before you know it your
intoxicated/ Fall asleep to a kiss it taste like wine/ But even dreaming you
know you can't escape it/ Once it's over you can't wait to press rewind”. That
is definitely how I feel sometimes, and even when I’m alone I think about those
moments and I just smile uncontrollably.
As for the tea I think that a Fresh Jasmine
will make the combination even better. It will give lots of benefits, energy
and it will be a help with in the cold weather. It’s a blend of green tea,
jasmine flowers, elderberries, elder flowers, ginger, lemon peel and lemon
juice. For me today it’s a must so try it and tell me how you feel about it.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Sometimes the world doesn’t work like we
want to and we get wrapped up in difficult situations and we starting feeling lonely
and overwhelmed. And when that happens we
might get depressed but let’s not stay in that state and do something about it,
cause we all fell like that sometimes. For me the next song does it. It’s a therapy
song from the indie pop band Bleachers called “I Wanna Get Better”. It’s a fun
and catchy with a hook that you’ll find yourself singing to it. Plus this
song helped me realize something “I didn't know I was broken/ 'Till I wanted to
change”, (and change I did :D). Maybe it will do the same for you.
Now comes the tea. This is a blend that its
design to increase your energy, lower your stress and it will help you concentrate.
It’s a mix of: black tea, yerba mate, cacao nibs, chicory
root, lemon balm, rose petals, orange. And it’s called Focus tea. Give it a
try, it might help.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Here in Romania winter is coming, or it’s already
here and that means that sometimes we might get sick. Because of that I decided
to find the perfect relief when we get in that situation. What do you guys
think about Cold Chaser tea which it’s a mix of: elder leaves, linden
blossoms, thyme, aniseed, fennel, rose hip peels, licorice root, blackberry
leaves & wild thyme. Add some lemon and give it a try.
And when it comes to the song I choose something
with a little more punch so we can have energy to chase our cold away. “Amnesia”
it’s a rock, hard rock or even post-grunge track from the band Red Sun Rising. This
melody is about taking life by the horns and just running with it, whatever may
come “Life should be touched not choked to death”. But I’ve got to say this is
my favorite lyric “Don't roll your eyes/ Take a breath”. That seems like a good
advice.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I was feeling the need for some green
tea but I wasn’t sure what should I try, so I choose something I knew I would
always like, something with cherries. I’m talking about Sakura Allure Green
tea. It’s a blend of: green tea, hibiscus, cherries, mango pieces, pineapple
pieces, rose petals, lemon peels, rosebuds, cranberry pieces. It has a fruit taste,
a little light than I like but still does a good job making me enjoy everything
that is good in this tea and in life.
Today's song, let's see... I think I’ve
listen to it before because the chorus seams familiar. Maybe because it’s really
easy: “We're singing/ Heya heya heya heya/ Heya, heya heya”. I’m talking about “Speeding
Cars” by Walking On Cars which is an rock, indie rock band from Ireland. This track
starts with a piano intro that slowly graduates to the lyrics. After that you’ll
hear the drums and guitars that will turn this song into something even better.
Plus the husky voice of Patrick Sheehy will make this a song to remember.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I found this song a few hours ago and
without realizing I’m still listening to it. It’s that kind of song for me, the
kind that you just hit replay again and again, hope you’ll do the same. “Don't
Wake Me”, this track comes from the band Aranda, an alternative rock, funk,
modern rock band from Oklahoma composed of 2 brothers. It’s a darker song that
talks about pain, addiction which go hand on hand sometimes. Plus this melody
has some killer guitar riffs and some hunting vocals.
Now for the tea, I found a tea that it’s
called Dark Side tea, and I think it will match perfectly with the song. It’s a
blend of: pu-erh back tea, blackberries, raspberry leaves, cocoa nibs and
chocolate pieces. This tea contains high levels of caffeine and it’s a tea so
dark that it will bring you to it’s side :D
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today let’s talk about MØ and her single “Drums”.
It’s a EDM track, very infectious and catchy, co-written by Charli XCX and Noonie
Bao a Swedish artist. This song gives me a good feeling witch seams to encourage
everyone that listens to it to follow their hearts and to love themselves. You’ll
find yourself dancing, singing and even clapping to that great hook: “To the
beat of your heart / To the beat of your drum”.
As for the tea I know the perfect blend to
give you energy and also keep you grounded. It’s called Balance tea and it’s a
mix of: pieces of apple, orange bits, blackberry leaves, green mate, nettle
leaves, flowers Saffron, sunflower and corn cockle. It has lots of flavors and
an amazing taste, plus the smell is to die for (at least it is for me).
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
This week is full of birthdays of people I
love, and tomorrow is going to be a special day to me. It’s my big sister’s
birthday, so you, guys, have to help me wish her the happiest birthday so far.
I’ve always been her LITTLE sister, even now that I’m 24, and she always took
care of me. She’s the best and I’m sure she always will be. I know that maybe
because we don’t live close to each other, I don’t tell you all that’s going in
my life, or I don’t tell you how much you mean to me, or that I love you, but
I’m sure you know all those things anyway. So, happy birthday, and let’s get
right into your choices.
For the song, she choose “Can’t Stop The
Feeling” by Justin Timberlake. It’s a catchy tune that makes you start dancing
as soon as it comes on the radio. It’s a vibrant song and I can’t help but
imagine myself dancing and fooling around, making funny faces and just enjoying
those memorable high notes that only Justin can hit. “It’s something magical/
It's in the air, it's in my blood, it's rushing on”. That’s the feeling I get
when this song starts playing, and I know she feels the same way too.
As for the tea, we’ll make a combination of
green tea and raspberries because she couldn’t choose just one, green or
raspberry tea. So I suggested combining them to make an even better tea :D She
agreed, so here it is - Raspberry Green tea! This will give you a little bit of
energy, it’s fruity and it’s exactly what you should drink when you are dancing
to this song. Plus, it will spark a great feeling “in your body”. Try it, you
will thank her for these choices.
Kisses and Go drink your tea (and wish my
big sister a happy birthday), I’m already drinking mine.
Happy Birthday, big sis! I love you and I
hope you have a great day and an awesome year. You deserve them!
The thing is that when speaking words isn’t
enough, we sing. When singing doesn’t do the trick, we dance, and that’s
exactly what happens when I listen to this song. It’s called “Still The One”
and it’s by Ingrid Michaelson. It’s a funky track, full of harmonies, clapping
and cute & lovely lyrics. You can feel the happiness flowing thru this
song, it radiates love. “We dance in the living room and/ We move to the
beating of our blood”. This is exactly what I wanna do when I hear this song.
Plus, I relate to a lot of the lyrics throughout the song, like this one: “This
is a life that we never knew”, but especially: “I’m still the one that’s in
love with you”. The last one makes me feel even better.
So we can keep dancing to this melody, I
think a black tea is in order to give us enough energy. And for this blend, I’m
going to choose a Ginger Chai, which is a combination of: black tea, ginger,
licorice root, lemongrass, peppermint and black pepper. It’s going to be spicy,
but if you don’t like that, don’t let it infuse for more than 3 minutes.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
It’s that time again, when you have to help
me wish a Happy Birthday to a friend of mine. And like always, it’s their
choice of song and tea that today’s post will be about. Her choices make a lot
of sense to me. Whenever she feels down, I imagine her listening to this song,
making a cup of tea and letting all the bad things go. So let’s dive right in
and get to the good part.
She chose the song “All Of The Stars” by Ed
Sheeran. I think there is no need for me to talk about this artist cause we all
heard of him. The song has a beautiful and graceful melody, with some lyrics
that describe an elegant look on life. It’s a supposed to be a
melodramatic song, but Ed somehow managed to turn it into something more
meaningful. “As the skyline splits in two/ I'm miles away from seeing you/ I
can see the stars”, “I wonder, do you see them, too?” These lyrics sum up the
heartbreak of the track, but when the chorus comes, it changes to a positive
way of looking at things: “All of these stars will guide us home”. That’s what
we all want, don’t we?
As for the tea, she chose a Sour Cherry
tea. I got to say it might be one of my favorites too. Sour cherries help with
insomnia and improve digestion, to only mention a few of its benefits. I think
this tea makes the perfect choice for this song, especially for her. It has an
underappreciated taste that you’ll just end up liking. It’s calming and provides
a safe space, just like her and her friendship.
Kisses and go drink your tea (and wish her
a happy birthday), I’m already drinking mine.
Happy birthday, my good friend! Hope you
have an amazing day! :*
Last night was a very good night for me,
and because of that, I keep feeling amazing. That’s why I’m listening to “Gimme
Sympathy” by Metric, an indie rock, alternative band from Toronto. I’ve known this
song for some years now, and it still gives me a good feeling whenever I listen
to it. It’s a positive track and I guess it’s a bit infectious cause you
can’t stop yourself to hit the replay button just to hear “Who would you rather
be/ The Beatles or The Rolling Stones”. And maybe you’re like me and whenever
“I can feel it in my bones” part comes, you feel chills down your spine.
Now for the tea… Kris, a close friend of
mine couldn’t stop herself and went on to discover what, in her own words, is
“the perfect blend for a morning tea”. So because of that, today’s tea is going
to be hers. She suggests a mix of: black tea, aniseed, cinnamon, cloves, red
pepper, orange peel and pieces of dark chocolate. Also, she makes milk foam for
this tea, and sprinkles it with cinnamon powder. Its name? KrisTea, of course.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I feel kind of sleepy so I’m going to
try a tea to wake me up a bit. It’s called Energy and it’s a combination of: hibiscus,
apple, blackberry leaves, elderberries, orange peel, kola nut, cherries. It’s
perfect for a situation like this when I’m not completely awake and I’m craving
fruits. Maybe I should add some black tea, I that’s going to put me on my feet.
Since I’m trying to wake up I think Halsey’s
track “Young God” will be the perfect choice. She feels like a god in this song
and I wanna feel that too. This song is
about feeling like you’re invincible whenever you are with that special someone,
and I can relate. Plus it has a mellow melody and her voice is calming.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine
Here comes Friday, another few hours of
work and we can relax and have great weekend. Since we still have to work for a little while
today let’s make the best of it, let’s drink some tea and try a new song. For the
tea I’m thinking of a rooibos one so will give you a bit of energy for the rest
of the day. A Gingersnap Cookie tea; it’s a blend of rooibos, pineapple, papaya
bits, mango bits, almond bits & ginger of course. Fruity, nutty and stimulating, what more do we
need?
Now the song; it comes from the band Ubiquitous
Synergy Seeker or USS for short, an alternative, electronic group from Canada. It’s
called “Work Shoes” and it’s about waiting to finish the day at work so you can
“kick off” the “work shoes”. This might become an addiction like it did for me,
with those drums kicking, beats dropping and those vocals blending them all together. Give it a listen; you might not realize when you hit that replay button,
like I’m doing right now.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
So I couldn’t sleep last night and I
thought that listening to some music might help me out. That didn’t happened cause
I found this song and I fell in love with it instantly and it’s been on repeat
ever since. It’s called “The Drugs” and it’s by Mother Mother. It’s an indie,
experimental, rock band from Canada. The lyrics talk about how loving that one
person give you a feeling even better than drugs: “Cause you're hotter than the
sun/ And you're better than the drugs/ I used to love”. And that’s just the first
lyrics of this track :D. Give it a listen, you might enjoy it.
As for the tea, I think it should be a Chocolate
Raspberry Truffl tea? It’s a blend of: black tea, raspberries, chocolate bits,
cocoa bits, chili flakes, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. This tea will give you
energy and because almost every ingredients are well known aphrodisiacs, this
will help you with the motion of the ocean if need comes.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m listening to “I’ll Be Good” by
Jaymes Young an indie, alternative songwriter from LA. This sounds like a
ballade, but it’s darker and authentic. He is promising to be good and you will
not be able to not feel his pain trying to redeem himself. You can feel his
guilt thru his voice and that makes him a good artist.
The tea should be something that after
feeling all this emotions will help us “be good”, and for that I have the
perfect tea. It’s a blend of: fennel, green rooibos, linden flower, orange
peel, raspberries, licorice root, neem, cinnamon, chili pepper, elderberry & Echinacea.
It will give you a bit of energy but mostly you’ll just enjoy the full flavors
this tea has to offer. And it’s also called Feel Better tea, that right there
is just the perfect combination.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today let’s try something new. How about a
yellow tea!?! It’s a rare and unique variety of tea produced similarly to green
tea, but with an added step of steaming the leaves to give it the yellow color.
It’s also lighter on the stomach then the green tea. And it has lots of
benefits, like: helps weight loss, prevents diabetes, boosts the brain
function, lowers cholesterol levels, is good for you liver, bones and teeth and
it’s also good during pregnancy. Give it a try, you might like it and your body
will definitely appreciate this new thing.
As for the song my choice is going to be “First
Light” by Racing Glaciers. A UK based indie, alternative, folk band with
post-rock roots that makes everything better. It’s a good track that has a lot
to offer with trumpets playing a supporting role to the guitars, piano, drums
and the vocals. The lyrics that gives us the feeling of ignorance over
accepting the reality of what is really happening with lines like “I keep
biting your tongue/ Just to carry it on”. It’s a calming and soothing
melody that combines perfectly with this new tea.

drinking mine.
Yesterday someone send me this song and I
really fell in love with it. It’s called “Backslide” by The Naked and Famous an
indie/rock/pop/electronic band from New Zealand. It has a darker sound to it
with that bass synth playing, but the lyrics are uplifting and it will make you
wanna try again. “Who's to say that you won't find love again” that’s the one
that keeps playing on repeat in my head. And after you listen to the track I’m pretty
sure it will happen to you.
Now for the tea I think it should be one
that will refresh you and give you the energy to do all the things you need to
do today. It’s a black tea with roosted mate and cocoa pieces and if you like
you can also add vanilla if you like that. It has a coffee-like taste to it completed
with creamy cocoa overtones and it’s called Javavana Mate tea.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
I’m in a good mood again and I found the
perfect song to keep me in it. It’s a ukulele base track; it’s very lovely and cheerful.
It’s called “Someday” and it’s by Michael Buble and Megan Trainor and apparently
it’s written by Harry Styles. Michael’s and Megan’s voices make the perfect
combination to tell us the song’s story about a boy and a girl who always
liked each other but for some reasons they haven’t ended up together. But they
don’t lose the hope of “Someday” when they’ll be together. “I’m forever only
yours” is definitely what I’m going to sing all day :D
For the tea I’m choosing a black tea with
chocolate cherries. It will taste absolutely divine and it’s going to make for
the perfect beverage to drink today. Plus it’s called Cordially Yours; even the
name is faultless and combines effortlessly with this beautiful track.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already drinking
mine.
The last few days have been unexpectedly
great and I think you should know that. Just sharing things with people that
are important to me and chilling in the house, cooking, listening to music and
drinking tea. It’s exactly what I want. The best part about this is it’s of course
the last 2 and because of that I’ll start with the song today. I’m listening to
“Because Of You” by Lana Del Rey. Everyone has heard of her so it’s no point
talking about her, I just wanna say that I started liking her because one of my
favorite people in the world really loved her music. This song speaks to me and
I enjoy it very much. Plus the chorus makes me wanna sing and dance and that’s
perfect. “Look at me now, I have everything/You gave to me and my heart can
sing”, I can’t stop myself :D
Since I’ve somehow rambled I think that now
I should just get to the point. My choice for the tea is going to be the White
Rooibos; which is a blend of white chocolate, rooibos, cocoa bits, carob pieces,
aniseed and cocoanut flakes. Oooo and licorice root (almost forgot about that).
It’s quite a festive flavor, sweet and creamy. It’s definitely the best choice
for this track.

drinking mine.
Today seems like a great day, even if it’s
kinda cold outside, and that means we should drink a tea so we can warm up inside. I’m thinking something
like a black tea so you can have the courage to confront the weather. How those
Orange Oolong tea sounds? It’s a blend of: black oolong tea, orange bits, juice
and also orange blossoms. Plus I’ve been craving oranges for the last couple of weeks so
this for me is the perfect choice.
Since is such a great day (for me at least)
in the morning I found this song and I seemed to like it from the first listen.
It’s called “By Your Side” and it’s by Jonas Blue featuring Raye. It’s electro-pop
track with catchy and enjoyable feel to it. Raye’s vocals match Jonas’s bets
and they give us a song with a lot of potential. Plus it has a few cute lyrics
that for me make perfect sense when I’m thinking about a certain person, like: “Scattered
hearts, broken glass/I don't feel a thing (do, do)/'Cause I'm frozen in time/When
you're next to me (do, do)”
Kisses and go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I was searching for some new music to
talk about and I kinda failed. Just because it’s an old song how got a cover
that sends chills down my spine from the firs second they start singing. I’m
talking about Pentatonix’s version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”. It’s not a
sad song, or a depressing track, it’s just an amazing, atmospheric and calming tune
full of great vocals from this a cappella group. Give it a try it might live
you speechless.
For the tea I’m choosing one not just by
name but for all the ingredients that are in it. A Divine Temple tea, which is
a mix of: white tea, green tea (Darjeeling, sencha and gunpowder), Jasmine, mango
bits, pineapple bits, papaya bits, orange peels, strawberry bits, red currants,
sour cherry bits, apricot bits & sugar. It has a lot of flavors in it, will
give you a boost of energy and a clear mind. It taste heavenly and it will pair
nice with the song.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Right now I’m listening to Olly Murs new single
“Back Around”. It’s a pop/indie track from the English artist that starts with
a guitar playing some cords and then the beats stat and gives another kind of
feeling. There are a few lyrics that get stuck in your head after the first
listen. Like: “And it feels dead, in this town” and of course “Bring love back
around”.
Now for the tea I’m thinking that some
green tea might do the trick for this autumn afternoon. Like a Green Tea Passion,
which is a blend of: green tea (of course), rose and sunflower petals, and corn cockle flowers. It’s a lot of flavors in
a small pot of tea.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
Today I’m in a mood for some red tea, that
means rooibos, cause I haven’t drink it in a while. And I’m choice is going to
be the Rooibos Festival of Senses tea. It’s a blend of: rooibos (of course :D
), coconaut flakes, honeybush, peppermint, ginger and since today I have a
sweet tooth I also added some chocolate bits.
Now the song… I’m thinking that the perfect
combination for the tea is “On & On” by Cartoon featuring Daniel Levi. I’ve
got to say this song has been on repeat since I found it this morning. It just
has something about it that makes it great, maybe Daniel’s voice or the beats
of Cartoon, I don’t know yet but I love and I wanted to share it with you.
Kisses and Go drink your tea, I’m already
drinking mine.
